Thinking about taking SD at home against KC Thurs. night for my knockout pool (8 people left).
What are people's thoughts on this?

Yep, agreed.
Taking Chicago on the road at Ten. is another thought.
Cutler was already hurting from the Detroit game, and got sacked 5 times yesterday, and Hasselbeck always gives his team a shot to win, but Chi. is probably the best team I have left to pick.
Denver on the road at Cincy is a decent option, too, but one of these weeks, the pretty good Bengals might show up again.

upset of the week for me will be tenessee, lots of people will be on CHI this week and lots of people could very well lose this one. I wil lalso take VAL thinking CLE's recent winning ways may come to a hault, and I think im going with another upset, neither may win on the field but should at least keep it close, many times the games I take are hard to stomach lol but they do pretty well, inches away from 3-0 last week, try to keep it going

TEN +3.5
BAL -4
CIN +4

If anyone cares, I took Denver.
Looking like Pitt. at home on MNF against KC is the obvious pick for this week.
I would have rather had Pitt. coming off the loss @NYG, but they should still take care of business.
I'm tempted to pick IND at JAX Thurs. night, but not sure I'll pull the trigger on that; no need to get too cute.

NE -9 today, Lucks run may get a wake up call today, watch out

no money on these two but watch out for GB and NO today, the refs and suspect plays may prevent them from covering today

Money Line parlay pays almost even

Yep, DAL took me on a wild roller coaster ride, but I'm one of 6 left.
Nice comeback for you with ATL, too!

Next week looks tough...CHI is my best team left, but MIN has plenty to play for, and we'll see if Campbell can shake his rust off tomorrow, and if Cutler's back next week.
All the other teams I have left aren't top-tier. I'll consider TEN over Jax on the road, Cardinals home to the Rams, CIN home to OAK (though Palmer vs. his old team is very intriguing), and IND at home against BUF.

What are you looking at for next week, Todd?

Early lean is towards Denver. Great spot to use them I think.

I would have been freaking out if I had Dallas yesterday. Hotlanta gave me a pretty good heart rate, can't imagine Dallas!

Yeah, even without McGahee, a like this Payton Manning-led team. I used them @ Cincy, otherwise I'd probably take that game.

The fact that the Bears got crushed tonight makes me want to take them in a huge divisional game vs. MIN, IF Cutler is back (never thought I'd write that  ).

There should be 4 left in my pool, but there are 5. Somehow, the person who had SF in the tie vs. STL is still in. I think a tie = a loss, and it's total BS.

I like CIN -8...on the field should be good to go, MIN isnt that bad and probably better than any team CHI has beaten this season
Chi has 7 wins the combined record of those 7 teams is
25-44 Chi has three losses combined record is 23-6...talk anout taking advantage of a crappy schedule and failing to step it up when playing good teams lol

The Bears suck. Always have, always will. They have not beaten a team with a winning record this year. I know now why that pussbag Cutler bagged on yesterday's game. He would have been beaten into an early retirement if he would have taken the field against the niners defense.

I still like CIN -8 but really starting to favor MIA +3 maybe even on the field for +130, everyone hyping up SEA and MIA lost 3 straight

Rolling with Denver in the suicide pool. Wish I didn't drop the ball and went with the Pats! Stress free Sundays sound great. I was too busy focusing on food...

As far as betting goes I like:

nice, got both cin and mia =), I guess I like GB tonight, not a lot though, too many times people leave NY for dead against good teams and they pull it off when more often than notthey should lose

Nice to see you win, Todd, but I would have been one of two left if Den. had lost. Cincy was the first stress-free week I've had in a while. I did think NO and TB were going to win today, but otherwise, most games went as planned. It would be cool to see NO beat ATL this Thursday. As of now, my top choices look like BUF, CHI, or DET. this week; slim pickings! What are you looking at for options?

Giants beat down GB again, ; AWESOME to see them crushing a potential playoff opponent once again. As always, I'll be rooting for a NE / NYG Super Bowl. Pats will stand a much better chance if Gronk gets healthy and stays healthy for their playoff run. For the regular season, I think the Pats have a good chance to win out, barring any more key injuries. I like where this matchup at MIA falls, rather than after the HOU and SF games.

so many games I like this week hard to pick just one

DET -4.5
BUF -6
SEA +4

3 others I like but not as much

DEN -7
SD +1.5
KC +3

SD and KC very unreliable or both would be automatic plays for me

I'm having a really tough time deciding who to pick to win this week. Would love input from some of you football fanatics!

I really like the Jets at home to ARI, but damn, I would be so pissed if I went out this late on the inconsistent Jets!!

I like Chi. to win at home, but Seattle has so much to play for, and it's kind of a "must-win" for them.

Carolina should definitely put up more points than KC, but they're terrible against the run, and KC must be hungrier than ever for their first home win.

I want to like Detroit, but other than the loss to NE, Indy is rollin'!

Would have considered BUF, but Henne is playing for a starting job next year, and he's proving worthy. Shorts and Blackmon aren't hurting, either...

Denver

None of those teams!
Pretty much the teams I listed are the best ones I have left to pick from this week.
