Hero - wondering if me and david Wollner (and possibly others) could come up this afternoon for a round ? I got directions from a previous post. Neither of us has had a chance to play at your course yet and have heard wonderful things. Maybe we could visit the Cambridge house afterwards ? Sorry for such a late ask.

My friends Jeff Bozeman, Frank Costello and myself had a fine time at your great course/home.

If you should find a bright pink Champion Valk at the bottom of your pond - keep it with my compliments. (it's near the white birch on the far shore with respect to the tee).

I also might mention that your boat has a small hole in the bottom. But maybe that is a good thing since, on a beautiful day like Friday the temptation would be to lollygag.

Hero - Just wanted to make sure everything was OK with you, the family and the course after last nights storms. I was watching the radar all night and at one point the local station down here in fairfield county pinpointed Loomis St. in North Granby (which according to mapquest is about 2 miles from you) as having the most severe weather in the state at the time. 72 mile per hour winds!!! Hope you all are OK.

I played down there today. Everything is fine. A few branches down here and there but otherwise pretty clean.

ALL IS WELL! Yo, all just back in from CHI-town--2 day ordeal in O'hare and Midway to get home--so i missed all the windblown excitement here--but other than powwwah outage (can't throw a firebird backhand more then 50 ft..? ) HDGC is intact...n ready 2 b attacked! )

I got two discs back from hero on sunday, and promptly lost two more during a horrible 3 shot series on holes 16 and 17. So Hero, first is a 175 champion monster that was lost in the top of that huge pricker bush on the corner of 16's fairway/green. Second was a white star wraith lost probably 30 feet to the right of the teebox for 17, dont ask. The wraith is also in the pricker bush and I looked briefly but couldnt come up with it. As always any help is appreciated, and I think ill be down just before xmass to hopefully pick up the discs and not lose any more.

FYI: for your own sake, have u looked into a satellite tracking device for your disc's yet---santa's comin 'round--hurry up and write him a note

Almost named one webber--as in black as coal and fired up! Ya know?...then i said...can't have THREE webbers in my life! (counting the one i love to grill on doncha know!)

Yep--they are pretty awesome (and tiring) right now! They'll definitely give "old" penn a run fer her money fer years 2 cum.

Their names were derived from norse mythology as the breeder is Valhalla kennels and this was the "God & Goddesses" litter. The stud was a decendant of Coby's clan.

Can't expose 'em to other hot diggedy dogs right know--i think we need another few weeks until they get their next round of vaccinations.

On another note--i've been cross-working (chain saw one day, brush cut another, pole saw yet another day, stick pick up and then lopping yet another day) on the new holes (got it barely manageable!) A little here, a little there...(with pup care, ball golf league and soccer coaching--yikes!).

But if u or anyone is up for some lopping and modest clearing, stick pick up--i'd imagine we could actually put the baskets in on the two new holes (7A and 6A--yep that's right 6A--a real nut cruncher) and put the pads in on all the 5A, 7A, 13A, 14A, 16A, and 18A) after several heavy loads of mulch=then we get to play the "Super Hero" 20 hole loop!.

is 6A an alternate pin, or a replacement hole entirely? And you say THIS one is a real nut-cruncher? wasn't hole 6 hard enough? haha playin' bro, that hole is sickly tight but I still love it!

Hey Dave! New basket = 2 now on that hole, same t-pad.

Take the tee shot out to the left of original basket and run it another 150 feet toward the #7 T pad. If u recall the tree stand is much thicker up to the basket but it opens(?) quite nicely (for a lot of potential tacos and crazy kicks!) out to the new position. Too long an upshot---take a hike down the embankment!

Great line with a pincer approach one on the left, one on the right...if u stay in the right lane that is the alley that can take u all the way there in one...all ya gotta do is get it about 6 feet over the original basket with slight fade to the left...?

Prolly the first ace on 6 will be a black one going for the 6A pin!

I know u can do it---i'm gonna be tryin fer a long time!

Now, just let me get this straight, Is 6 the one that's on my camera with the warning sign for cry babies, and a 3ft wide x 100' long path through 500 pine trees?! that you just put another longer basket in??? I'm usually cringing before it even hits a tree on that one. You have a better chance at throwing a brick through there then a disc. Can't wait to try it.

yeah andy, that's #6. I've hit metal on that hole twice actually going anhyzer (once was during glo, skidding up under it ) but that WILL be a sick hole with an even longer pin position. Make the "no whining" sign even BIGGER for that layout, hero
