- Luiz Martinez was the big winner, coming in about 11 shots below his average...with Bradley a close second at 9 below his.
- Jared and Kyle had the low scores with 56's. Jared got the $5.00 by virtue of first tiebreaker...which is being in attendance for the payout. There's no way to play off for it, when one of the players has left.
- Chris Gould and Jim Bobka got the CTP's worth $9.00 each (holes 5 and 14 respectively)
- 3 new players this week.
- We did trash pickup, and wow...talk about cigarette butts! I must have picked up a couple hundred of them, and our group had a pretty full bag of trash by the end.

I believe the CTPs that Kyle called out were 5 and 13; there was a flag on 5 but none on 13. A long stick marked the spot on 13, where I then placed a dunkin donuts cup on the stick to mark my own lie.

Chris' shot was nice, hit the tree behind 5 and backed in about 1' from the pin..... he even flicked an Epic.


Yeah, a lot of guys left to watch the Bruins cave....looks like they went back to hibernation........ bad joke.....

- Luiz wins for the 2nd week. The average is dropping though, so it's gonna be tough to three peat.
- We had a tie for the low score between Josh Boutell and Bill Mehr. Bill won the $5.00 in a playoff.
- CTP's worth $8.00 & & $7.00, were won by Patrick Harris (hole 9), and Bill (hole 16).
- No aces yet, and the pots finally cracked $100.00.
- We had 3 more new players this week which puts us up to 40 different people that have attended.

- John Carey was the winner shooting about 6 shots below his average.
- Phelan shot low score with a 55, plus got the CTP on hole 17, and took 4th place cash with the handicap adjusted score. The other CTP, which was Alternate hole 3, was won by Kyle Stevens.
- No Aces. So the pot keeps climbing.

- Josh Boutell takes it down shooting his lowest round for the year with a 55.
- Adam Dodge, makes his first appearance at league this year, and shoots the low score of the night with a 53.
- Cupcake and Josh Boutell won the CTP's, on holes 2 and 10 respectively.

- For a change, the low net and actual score were shot by the same person. Bill Mehr, shooting his best league round to date with a 52.
- John Carey took the CTP from Alt. 1, and Titan got the one on hole 13...good for $8.00 each.
- We had 21 players, and still nobody has hit the Ace pot yet. So it's now up over $170.00.

This year, the lowest Net score was Luiz Martinez's 42.55 (shot on week 5). He'd shot an 88 and a 90 on his only two previous rounds and then a 72 giving him that net score....so that's about an 18 shot improvement.

Last year it was a 41.81 shot by Chris Buckle, followed by a 44.22 by Bradley, and a 44.91 by Phelan. Chris's 41, was his only round below 50. The 41.81 was shot on week 16, he shot a 56 with his previous rounds being 68, 68, 76.

Every now and then someone shoots an out of their mind round, where the planets just align and everything goes in and we get a crazy low net score like that. There aren't many rounds at all below 45 though. Last year it was only those 3. This year only 2. (Kyle shot a 44.93 also on week 5, which I think was the week after we had that full on downpour for the entire round.)

Almost to the half way point.

- Guy Lyman takes down the $143.00 ace pot with an ace on hole 5 (with an FLX Challenger). The other $47.00 rolls over to next week.
- 1st place winner is Terry Parker, and low score this week goes to Bill Mehr...again. Two weeks in a row now.
- CTP's were won by myself on hole 7, and Kyle Stevens on 15 with the opposite hand distance competition.

- Small crowd tonight with the threatening storms....only 10 players including a first timer.
- Adam Harris takes down the big W, shooting a season best 57.
- Bill Mehr takes the low score cash...for the 3rd week in a row by winning it in a Playoff.
- I hit an ace on hole 3 (a week too late) and took home $43.00 for it.
- CTP's were on holes 11 and 13, John Carey got 11 and I got 13.

We were done before the rain hit, btw. Hopefully we get nicer weather and a bigger crowd next week.
