#9 Box, done! Awesome club effort today!
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

Work Day this Sun 9AM. Hole #1 teebox gets crushed! Also put our new pole saw to work today, like butter, limbs and jerk branches are going down!

12 members of KDGC braved pouring rain and now #1 pad is done! (Rain was actually helpful, easier to tamp down material)

about 25 hours of pole sawing later and a few holes are really looking good, only about half a million more branches to take out, will keep plugging along at it.

dead branches are best, pine that is alive, snaps 3/4 of the way, pain in the arse. working on #8 this afternoon, I have started leaving branches on fairway in the hopes people will move them, so far it is kind of working. I need a wood chipper, hell, I need a lot of stuff 8-)

I haven't kept up with this thread but I will say that at the end of September, we have 1 more tee pad to install and the front 9 will be complete, still cosmetic work and irrigation issues but I'd say she is about 80% done, from the feedback we have received people are enjoying it. Back 9 is marked and we are fundraising for baskets, more info on that coming.
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

I am proud to announce that we have 9 gorgeous Tees built at Otter Brook. While there is some work to finish on front 9 (and there always will be ) we are now going to be looking ahead to our back 9 and making Otter Brook one of the the top courses in NH if not New England.

Dozens of people helped out this summer, with people traveling hours to help us out (Tony and Drew..thanks). I do want to give a shout out to couple in particular. There is no way this happens without Rob Breckenridge. The amount of time he has given to Otter Brook over the last 3 years is mind boggling (maybe we should thank his wife!!!). The other is my son Gally Johnson. I don't know many 17 year olds that would volunteer the time that he has to make the course the gem it is today. He went to every work day, helped in the background, did what whatever was asked of him and never complained. These two men were absolute driving forces this summer.

Final tee, we now have 9 10x5 leveled Fly18 pads!!!

Toughed it out in the rain to get last tee in!!
