I played there a couple weeks ago - it was playing fine (1 was mowed down to the pin and is the only one that is a grass fairway the whole length).

As always the tee-boxes (except #1 which the ACE built up and are landscaping) are a little ragged but not awful.

... and if you get the chance - bring a canoe/kayak and take the 3-mile paddle up the Tully river to Long Lake. Use the car-top put-in by the campground.

I really want to get there before the weather gets colder. It really sucks to play there in the winter or early spring. Lots of holes are flooded and if you don't have high boots you are in for a painful experience. I remember playing there once before they cut a bunch of trees down on the front nine and then playing again after they did that and noticed a considerable difference in my score. I do agree that it has made the course look a little ugly and less challenging, but I still suggest people make the trip up there, it is totally worth it!

Played Tully yesterday morning with Gags. Both of us were thoroughly impressed with the new tee pads on holes 1, 11, 14, 15 and 18. Some really good masonry going on right there. I kid you not when I say they are amongst the best that I have thrown from in all of New England. Hats off to whoever is responsible. If you haven't played Tully lately you haven't played Tully.

Arty,
You haven't been to Pinnacle in a while. We have all new tee pads, one raised masonry pad. You and Gags should come up here sometime. Oh yea, were having a tournament soon.

Tully, sorry to steal the thread

Course is fine. Wear footwear to survive muddy spots. Not much snow left. No damage from ice storm except for birch beyond hole 10 and very little pine debris around.

Have fun

to any other dam course.. all you faithfuls just keep up the hard work you do
picking up trash ect ect ect
they do notice and eventually can't deny the disc golf course money when those parking lots are full

i think the casuals just have no idea about anything so the more we can nicely lead them in the right direction the better so Speak up"

To all who use spikes or yak tracks... Adam and I were there yesterday playing a round and we noticed many scratches on the new brick tee pads. As a request, I would like to propose that anyone using said spikes or yak tracks or any other METAL traction devices please refrain from (do not) tee off from the cleared tee pads. Either tee from a snow covered area near the tee or remove the metal from the bottom of your shoe. Thank you for understanding...

Hey Tully peoples...

Would it possible to get a photo of one of your paver tee pads?

We may be doing the same thing at Page Park in CT, and seeing a pic will help me visualize

They were so nice the first time I saw them I persuaded the Tully Club to make their tags like the tees.

And so we did.

3 things that make these the best tees I think around.

1) Gently sloped to prevent puddling. Even on rainy days the tees are mint.
2) They're LONG enough. Never are you forced to do 1 step run-up.
3) Even if you have a 4-step approach, most are level with the ground behind the tee so even if you start your run-up off the tee, your first step isn't wasted by jumping up to the box.

Definately the best.
