Almost ace, sweet eagles or birds, nice shots but NOT an ACE

Also the place for aces, near aces, beautiful birdies and enormous eagles.

We had 3 "almost aces" at Devens league last night. Pete Tolvanen and I skimmed the top of the basket rim and Franchi hit the post. All on hole 9. A half inch to one side and there'd be nothing but the sound of sweet sweet chains.

Got the only to-date recorded deuce on hole 4 today at J-Park... maybe 150' out, but a ~25'+ elevation change uphill 8-)

Quite possibly the only good thing that I did all round, too

Jerel Davis today,

Terrible drive a little left, half way up hole 6 (short) at Buff. Hyzer approach coming up 12-15 feet short. It banks of the tree and hits the basket dead center for a birdie.

Yeah someone said there were 2 eagles Saturday. That is a tough hole to even get a 3 on since it is so easy to over drive the fairway. Nice shot!

Nice Game!!!

Shot two of my best rounds this week at Wickham. Shot a 59 a few days ago playing the short layout, and shot a 61 today playing long 7 and 9. Also hit my first birdie on hole #10 this week - KC Pro Aviar from about 20 feet behind the bocce court.

Almost had a deuce turkey on B-B at B-land on sunday. Deuce on 13 with a 25-30footer. Got my first eagle on 14 with a flippy wraith that found its way all the way through the S-alley and a 35-40 foot putt to can the 2. On 15 I had a drive that cleared the hill going right and came in the back door...missed the 50 footer though. :x

What the heck, I'll do it for him......

Zak Brown splashed chains on Wick 14 this Saturday. Obviously, it's a blind hole but chains were heard and the disc was found laying 2-3 feet away from the basket.

Yup it was verified by the group in front that it did tickle the chains. D-Buzzz.

Playing a solo round of whites at B-land on monday, I was taking extra "practice shots" off the tees and put my 2nd drive in on hole 14....not really an ace but kinda? I also dropped in an 8 foot putt for eagle on 14 blue earlier the same day!

Was playing b-land, hole 8 white to white with Craig Swanson and he unleashed a monster anny flick right over the moth-eaten tree (you know th' one ). It zoomed all the way down the slot and disappeared from view... then we heard chains... alas, it didn't stick. Woulda been the first on hole 8 that I'd heard of...

Later that round I splashed chains on 14 (that hole is such a tease!)
