Wick vs B-lands March 28th at The Wick

Well, if the challenge is on saturday the 27th I have to throw in a plug.

My rock band is playing a gig IN MANCHESTER (the town wick is in) on Friday The 26th. It would be great to have a pre team challenge get together at the bar my band is playing with both teams present. I'm sure many wick members would be happy to put up B-Landers if they wanted to come down and stay the night before.

Now that sounds like a blast! I am definitely in for that. Should have a good idea of the number of players available for either day sometime next week. I'd love to play Wick or Heroes, really doesn't matter to me! My last ace came at Heroes in 2007...longest draught yet.

Hartford Road Cafe. Great place to hear live music. The band I play with plays everything from Green Day to the Police to Journey to Weezer. All your favorite rock hits in one place. March 26th 9pm-1am.

Sunday. Sorry about that Shane, would have enjoyed seeing your band perform. Another time. On another note, when are the baskets going in for Wick? Are there changes to the course as we knew it a year ago? Any chance to play the course between now and the 28th of March?

no changes to the course yet...soon to come

Sounds like a last minute install of the baskets ... don't think park will be officially open when we play.

Hey Ditter, We will have 13 for the challenge on the 28th and some extra hands to help out on Saturday if there needs to be some work done on the course.

We'll write it in stone for March 28th at The Wick.

The baskets are not going in until the 27th. It would be great to having a good size crew to help put them in. Team Wick will start checking the teepads and fairways once the snow has melted. The course might be a little rough around the edges, but should be fine for winter golf play.

Looking forward to B-lands visit to our home course!

Hey Ditterman, can you update the title of the thread to reflect the March 28th throwdown date? How many spots are available for crashing on Saturday night? Sounds like we will probably have 4 people right now, but that could easily double if we had a place to stay.

there will be no charge to get into the park, butt we're going to try to get everyone into the park in a fairly small time frame - like 1/2 to 1 hour prior to start ..................

On Saturday (the night before the challenge) I will be playing at the Topside Cafe in Milford, CT. Probably 45 minutes from Manchester or so if people are willing to drive and listen to your favorite rock covers.
