If I'm not mistaken 12 at Hyzer Creek is the wide open field that is seriously downhill all the way.

Didn't know it was way down hill.

Just had to call bs on a 505ft flick.

DUH Todd! Of course they are just going to say they throw 505' with a flick without telling you the hole drops off significantly  c'mon, 505' downhill is legit. probably more like 305'...

Heck, I threw a Roc 638' once. Deeerrrrp.

Would it be crazy to try to put together a Distance challenge between rounds at a tourney next year? think of a flat open hole? Then people don't have to talk about it. They can be about it.

J-Park has a ~600' flat field that runs alongside hole #4. Right near the pavilion too. The Jammer is usually in June so there's plenty of daylight to have the contest between or AFTER the rounds.

It's funny that's how this thread started. At the end of our team challenge against Bland2 at Bland we had a long drive contest and he won with roughly a 430ft bomb. I seen it!

If we ever start playing on football fields we might let you play with us. Until then remember this: Drive for show, putt for dough!!

Where have I heard that before?
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.

I can hit 500' flat field on a good day with helpful wind. I'll hit 450' most other days. All depends on the wind and the surface "tee pad" your throwing from.

I throw 400 feet easy . . . if I slip . . . and it's windy . . .and the disc catches an edge and rolls 130 feet

I would liked to have seen that because I'm having a hard time imagining it. Did it skip early??Did it flip after the skip? Did it skip to my loo? Loo loo skip to my loo.
Wish I was playing disc golf instead of posting here...
