Don't make any calls regarding the $ until we talk it out. I am all for getting beer using finals $ from Hyland (we planned on buying beer anyway) and encouraging team mates to hang at the tap room that night, but want to make sure we aren't dropping too much money on alcohol. $900 will go fast!

No worries. Don is gonna talk with the owner about how they want to handle things, as well as get some prices for us.

Hylands was a great choice. I'll inform my team.

I am almost 100% sure we would be buying beer, don't worry about that. The money will need to go towards any fees (like if we need to pay hyland some green fees etc), non-alcoholic beverages (ie water/soda), and the rest payout in the form of CTP's and other awards on the day (just not for order of finish).

So 116 invites, 90 per round, shuffling players as needed.

Is this what we r going with?

Should we go 6 somes in doubles?

One vote was cast to keep the 116 total playing. Not sure who that was and since this is a semi-public setting, it may have been someone that isn't even involved with our finals. I am getting an email list together of the captains, but I am missing info for the following teams:

Noho
Buff

Once I find out the person to notify, I will send out the email that I have. We need to work this out as well as other things (like women and money). It seems like not everyone is actively participating in this thread, so I will try with email.

We could do 9 holes of foursomes and 9 holes of sixsomes and space them out by alternating the groups. At least everyone would finish at the same time...

About the women...

I think they should be counted at least one round. Whether it is singles or dubz, doesn't matter to me.

We have come this far in involving them, why stop now.

Discuss....

I agree about the women aspect, but it should be something that each team needs to follow. IE: each team needs to play the woman in singles or doubles or both. One team playing all 10 guys in singles and all other teams playing a woman as part of their 10 would give the advantage to the team playing all 10 guys. Hope that made sense.

Yes, it will have to be at least one or the other, and all teams will have to play em the same round.

Your choice if you play them both rounds.

It did.......at least I think it did.

I agree that we somehow need to include the ladies scores.

Teams not using a woman in singles, play 9 guys and count the worst female score (assuming 10 is the number we are playing).
If they don't have a woman and play 10 guys to me thats a big advantage (even if they are forced to take the worst female score they still get one more chance for a really good score by playing one more guy than everyone else).

Not sure how to handle doubles.........

Singles seems like it would carry the most weight.

If they don't have a woman, 9 guys go out, count the worst woman's score against them.

We need to get an idea of who is bringing one.

Maple Hill will have 1 on our final roster.

I think we are all in agreement then that the max # of players a team can play in the round is 10.

I personally feel as though the women should be involved in both rounds, but I guess we should put that part to a vote. Let's go thorn and Noho, let us know where you stand.

Panthorn stated that they are not sure if Eric will be able to make it but agreed that we should make it mando for them to play one round. Then the teams can decide on what to do for dubz. Also they are cool with just 10 per round/per team.

Neither Leslie or I will be at finals. I will appoint a proxy captain for finals. The format seems fair and workable. juano

Bummer Juano.

Sounds like the #'s issue is resolved. 90 Players will be involved. Please send me your list of 10 players that will be playing in Singles. I will use the same method that the A-pool finals uses.

We are pretty sure our female is playing - still waiting to hear for sure. Have we decided on whether she is mando for singles or both rounds?
