I might be able to make it on the 5th but would prefer another day if possible. If the Crane Dubz wasn't going on the next day it wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for letting me know guys, I asked Noho if we could reconsider that date.. With the dubz event the next day it really doesn't make it very do-able for us.

Speaking about the dubz event.. I know a bunch of guys from crane were planning on playing but there's been a good amount of outside interest so I'd suggest letting me know of your team and division so I can have your spot guaranteed.

Thanks guys!

Nice to see so many of us at Newton on Sunday too... We're gonna need every edge we can get cuz that course is tricky!

yo brohemian monks it's looking like the 19th is going to be the date for our challenge against noho. It will be at crane. The only way I'd wanna call it off is if there's a substantial number of people that can't do it.

Ehhhh?

hey sorry about the late cancellation guys. I hope everyone is safe. What ridiculous weather... Being a healthy skeptic of weathermen didn't help much this weekend.

Not sure when the rescheduled match will be but will be working on figuring that out asap.

For now we wait until hosting Noho the 19th.

I played Newton today and it was an absolute mess. Trees down everywhere. I hope crane looks alright, if anybody goes there and knows how it looks they should lemme know.

Hey so after talking with Brad today we have decided upon dec. 4th for our make up date. The only way this will change is if there's a large number of our players who can't make this challenge.

Our challenge on the 19th against noho is still a go as well. Unfortunately for us, due to the state of crane hill it looks like we'll be sacrificing a home match this year. The match against noho will be played at shep woods in westfield.

For those that haven't heard of it or played it (which is about everyone) this course was built by drew gardner and chris barden, and is pretty ill. It's just another course in western mass for us to utilize, built by friends, so it makes sense to host our challenge here.

I still need to talk with Kelly or Juano of noho to make sure this is alright, but it's our home match, everything is really alright.

Again the 19th at westfield, us against noho, going to need all hands on deck.. if not to play then for the support of your presence because i think everyone feels a little vulnerable, maybe weak in the knees after seeing the state crane is in.

word.

Can this course be played at any time? I know it's private but didn't know if there were any limitations to playing it.

We may still be able to play the 19th at home... don't discredit the work that Mike and Steve have been putting in daily at Crane, on top of the help that others have provided. It may not be perfect by the 19th, but may be playable with some new added "obstacles". I would have to assume that if the widowmakers were going to come down, they would of already. And if we are waiting for them all to fall, then we might as well close the course til 2017. This is going to be a tricky line between being safe/using caution versus reasonable, likely occurance. Captain?

yeah eric, couldn't agree more with you. It's tricky because lord knows I don't want to have a serious injury occur at our team challenge but obviously on the other hand that could happen any day for any funky ole happening.

I got to the course yesterday and actually played a round. Steve, mike, ken, davis, grosso, frekey, josh and co have done AMAZING ish.

Love it.

I loved the idea of people being introduced to the westfield course but absolutely hated the loss of a home match.

With all the work that's been done and can still be done, we're back on for the 19th at crane against nono.

YEEEHOOOO!!!

Such a huge thanks to everyone that's been busting it out there to help with the cleanup. Crane's got the best damn group of guys to call any one course home. Awesome.

Now let's get a count on attendance.

Pete,

Both Nov 19 and Dec 4th are ok with me. Glad to see we may have saved a home date for NoHo :) , although I would like to get to Westfield some time. Is it open to the public?

Mike

Alrighty then, lets get some more planning going on here. What will we be doing for lunch? What are people planning on bringing?

I will be coming from RI on Friday night so i can't really bring anything crazy.

Lets not be afraid to commit to bringing something.

I can bring plates and forks and napkins and cups and all that jazz. anything else people want me to bring?

sounds good kyle, thanks for stepping up... I talked with Eric today and he will be contacting a number of people tomorrow to touch base on what we're bringing.

I'll have a bountiful something or other that is vegetarian and we should have a good number of other dishes as well..

What we'll be looking for is a beverage person N/A and a beverage person or persons for some booze (if ya'll feelin it)

Then maybe a bagel man, or box o Joe or something for the morn, maybe 2 or 3 people want to tackle the morning

And for lunch.. I'd say 5 solid meal will do the trick with maybe some dessert type stuff out of someone too..

I'm down for the veggie option so we should have 4 or 5 others step up with some meals, and then maybe a chips guys whatever... We'll touch base and fill this out as the week goes....

I have a list going with everyone's contributions for Saturday. So far, Kyle has the non-edibles covered, Pete has his veggie mania, and Kretsch will have H20's, Gatorade, and Granola Bars. Expect a phone call from me tonight and we'll get this thing filled out. Start thinking about how you can help. Can't wait for Saturday! If anyone has portable tables, that would be great.

Pete and my power's combined, and all your help... here is our most up to date list for NOHO
Match starts at 9 this Saturday 11/19, get there early
CARPOOOOOOOL if possible
Thanks to all of you for your help, hats will be there! Bring cash to cover Pete for the season (10 bones)
We have 3 tables, any more tables would be helpful!

Pete - Veggie Dish
Cam - Veggie Dish
Chris - Grill, Sausage
Drew - Dessert
Fleury - H20, Dessert
Grosso -
Broderick - 30*
Andy -
Greg - N/A
Josh - Food Dish
Jason - Meatball Subs
Kretsch - Gatorade, Granola Bars
Kyle - All Non-edibles (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, napkins)
Tous - 30*
Steve - Macaroni Salad
Nate - N/A
Bert - N/A
Kielb - Chili
Frekey - 30*
Brandi - N/A
Katie -

Let's get our disc on and our eat on. Weather looks great! Anyone that hasn't contributed yet, bring Box-o-Joe or Donuts/Bagels! We are already covered on food, drinks, dessert, extras, etc. Also, it appears that NOHO will not have enough players to cover what looks to be our 16 males (and possibly 2 females) so be ready for the possiblity of sitting out (aka random draw dubs, singles match play, etc with teammates). We all trust Pete will do the right thing for the team.

I've got a folding table I can bring. It's not huge but it's better than nothing.

Pete, just an FYI Frekey and Kielb are both in for the challenge. The only true ?s are Brandie, Katie, and Bert.
