(in belichick voice).. we know what the plan is.. to win games.. we will take it one game at a time and make sure we do what we need to do for our game against crane.. spreads mean nothing, we play for the W.. We will all prepare hard and Brad-y will make the best decisions for the match-ups.. (insert random smiley face)

Sounds like Maple is the underdog in this one. I like it.

Don't worry, there will be a nice spread.

I'm not familiar with much match play but i suppose this could help getting to be a better putter with alot more (going for it). any thoughts anyone notice what Team Challanges has done for their game?

I understand the thought process in match play, just wondering what it helps most.

Yes Keith, you can play very aggressively in match play. Go for shots you wouldn't normally try and run putts if you need to. Just don't be stupid about it. Play for the situation, ya know? If you see your opponent dump one in the pond then you can play conservative and win the hole with a 3. Same goes for putting. You don't want to make a run for a long deuce, miss 40ft long, then watch your opponent lay their putt up under the basket for a 3. Now you HAVE to hit that 40 footer.
Match play is the funnest way to play the game if you ask me.
I personally don't think it helps any part of your game, but the mental game is completely different than stroke play. Stroke play is you vs the course. Match play is you vs your opponent.
