I am uber excited to watch the playoffs. Philly-Pittsburg should be a great series. The good news for the rest of the league is that it will likely go 7 and will be physical.

East
Rangers in 6
Bruins in 6
Devils in 5
Pittsburg in 7

West
Canucks in 5
Sharks in 7
Blackhawks in 5
Red Wings in 7

As predicted by many, the entire series could be a wild roller coaster ride, Jeff.

As a Bruins fan, I'd rather not see a confident, healthy Penguins team in the ECF!

Overtime playoff hockey is the best. I cant believe I fell asleep. I really thought it was over when the Pens went up by 3. The series is going 7.

13 hours to puck drop.

LOL!

Lucic-Krejci-Seguin has more offensive power than any of those lines, maybe you could say those three lines have the best depth, but I could also go to a line like...

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows, eventhough we all hate the Canucks, that's a pretty nasty line. H. Sedin being out could be big against LA... they could make that a series now.

Toews-Kane-Stalberg, with Hossa on the second line... pretty nasty.

Datysuk-Franzen-Hudler/Holstrom... big strong and can score in bunches.

Stamkos-Malone-St.Louis... talk about offense.

Backstrom-Ovechkin-Knuble/Laich/Johanssen....Washington carries like 12 Centermen.

I am sure their are #2 and #3 lines better than the Pens #2 and #3 too. Bergeron-Marchmont-Peverley comes to mind...

Truly homer statement!

Watched the Kings/Canucks game last night (couldn't sleep)

Vancouver hasn't changed ooooooone bit!

Kings looked sneaky good last night...easily could have scored 10 goals but Luongo had some pretty nasty saves.

I would agree that Pittsburg has the best depth at starting center with Malkin, Crosby, and Staal. Ain't no got that beat.

Haha, I'm glad our collective hate for the Canucks is still strong!

The hit Richards put on Burrows in the final minutes of the game was awesome.

6.5 hours until Bruins!

Was nice to see Burrows get rocked....but was frustrating to see him light the lamp early in the game!

Staal could be a first-line centerman on most teams in the NHL.

That was a crazy game... 60 minutes of nail biting 0-0 hockey, then Kelly buries it 1:18 into OT.

I was preparing myself for a long night. Now I can go to bed happy.

Bruins held Ovechkin to only 1 shot and rocked him with big hits all night. Ovechkin seemed at one point to be more concerned with delivering back big hits, than scoring. Anytime he is not thinking about scoring,..I'm happy. I liked the way the B's played it!

Dropping double digits can't hurt the momentum! Here's hoping the Pens win game 6, then get stomped in game 7 of course...

Wow was I wrong. Those have to be the worst predictions ever. I am glad I didn't give any Solbo guarantees.

Hopefully I will get at least one winner right when the Bs take it home on Wednesday.

The stench of this Pens Flyers series will linger for a long time. Crosby has done irreparable harm to his reputation - that's what being an instigator, but then hiding behind your enforcers, will do to you. Still love Malkin, Neal, Staal, & Dupuis but Letang obviously needs some help on the defensive front.

Time to cheer for anyone but a West conference team to win the Cup. I can't stand Ovie and the Capitals so I do hope the B's prevail there. I like a good underdog story so I think I'll cheer for Ottawa.

Why the anti Western conference. The real underdogs would be the Kings. Blues or Preds would make a great Cinderella story as well. (I am not going to mention Coyotes in the same sentence because I am rooting for the Hawks from the West).

I dunno, I just always despised the Red Wings, Avalanche, and Blackhawks, and therefore grew to loathe the western conference as a whole. I also think they play a different brand of hockey...maybe I'm imagining things, but to me it seems like eastern conference hockey is totally different, and better.

Wow, I'm glad I don't have NESN!! haha

you can't take every series to 7 and expect to win 'em all......odds are against you.

Especially when 4 of those games go to OT.

Well, then... *reaches into hat* ...and... Let's go Kings!
