played 2 rounds yesterday with my brother, course looked great! man, there are some challenging holes out there, I love it! Almost got the 3 on hole 9, 8 on 18 1st round, 6 the second, forget about par if you get off the fairway. That hole will be a game changer, 17 is no joke either.
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

Rob, Glad you had fun. Yes the key to 18 is do not stray from the fairway. My wife and I have both par'd it. Trying to get the course wrapped up for the winter but progression is just so damn slow when one is too picky
Hope to get a few rounds in with you hopefully before the white stuff hits

yeah, I know a thing or two about being picky, we have our 1st Team challenge match the 26th, I'm thinking we will have a definite home field advantage.

Under the weather today but still worked 8 to 12:30.
Worked at cleaning 18 worked from bottom brushpile on side of hill up to second woodpile. Picking up sticks brush and debris, cutting down stumps, knubbie removal, and limbing trees bordering fairway.
It was awesome. I was taking a break looking up 18 and a gorgeous hawk swooped down and flew up the fairway. Totally Awesome. 8-)
Back at it 8am Sunday still onn 18

Gonna have to take a break this week, we have a home challenge on Sunday. You definitely should come and get some grub though. Also, I found a disc of Sunny's on 12.

We lost in a really close one. Bill and Brooke lost a playoff that would have lead to an overall tie if they had won. No real comments on any of the cards I played on. I think just the one glaringly obvious thing...

both cards I played on loved the course but thought it also very technical, although they appreciated this aspect. all these guys threw thumbers and were predominant forehanders, they were parking some difficult holes.(this doesn't mean you should move baskets farther back 8-)

Yes I received some feedback

The number plates are awesome

Ccow had a great idea for hole 6 super easy and holy once ya see it seems so obv

Holes 1-8 played great

Some disliked hole 3 was surprised about that... That pile I think needs to go

All loved 1 2 4 5 7 8 12 13 14 16 17

Of course minus tees

Now that I am getting rounds in as a player competively I see a few tweaks

I loved playing 2 4 5 7 8 12 13 14
I botched 16 and 17 badly both rounds costing me both matches... Nothing to do with holes I think I had pre banked them and failed

People enjoyed hole 1 and warming up in field

Overall course played awesome thanks guy mucho your recent solo push shows

I have trees I think are unfair on 9 11 15 18

I am really aiming to be available wedz
Finally

Again thanks guy

What was CCow's idea for 6? Did he just find the right tree to cut?

3 is hard and I can see people disliking it, but I think it is an important hole. Most players are RHBH and an uphill anhyzer is one of the hardest shots (in my opinion). That is the only hole that requires that shot off of the tee.

For me on 18, the hemlocks on the right side just past the wall need to go. The line I want to take is right through those hemlocks. There are still plenty of tree trunks to hit along that line, so it isn't going to become an easy shot. Getting rid of them could also widen a lefty/flick landing zone on the right side over the wall.

No one liked 9?

10 is starting to grow on me, I like it.

11 seems a bit blah. I think a basket relocation could be considered. Then again it is also one of the worst 'tees' on the course, maybe fixing that may change how the hole plays.

I think people will have different opinions on holes once Teepads are in. Bad footing can make a nice looking hole difficult and ugly. Even playing flatrock recently with new pads made the course seems nicer/more playable.

I wouldnt mind 3 at all with a good teepad, but an anny backhand or strong forehand is difficult to get off with bad footing.

Def looking forward to hitting up RFG more next season, and hopefully see Teepad workdays popping up

For sure three is awesome hole
And yes bh Anny is tough I throw flicks so kinda easy for me

I seen a great roller from cupcake while back even.. Amazed me actually a designed roller on that hole

Nine is a great match play hole... Actually the entire course kinda is

I guess that tree just bugs me... I envision a nice pipeline if for anything else for looks

Ccow had huge drive past cellar hole lucky but hey

Ten once tee is in we can determine best final position.. It is growing on me as well

11 yeah tee is brutal but I still shorter or longer is best it's kinda blah
I tend to think shorter and make a birdie aly of sorts

Again love 12-17
Except 15 just needs to be a Lil more cuts even.. Not much but a few Lil ones

Fall sucks. I lost a light pink disc on 12 on Sunday. It is probably on the right side, near or beyond the wall, but there was a big tailwind so it might have gone left after I lost sight of it. Met Sully and Dan Dodge there on Monday for a round and to look for it. Instead I lost of red slightly copperish disc (horrible fall color) to the left on ten. Real bad shot, missed that first big pine tree to the left. If you happen to be in that area, let me know if you find it.

Sorry Paul looked for 45 minutes both 10 and 12 with no luck. I will start cleaning the sides of both holes next time up there.

Worked 7:15 to 1:50pm today. 4 had 3 trees on the fairway. All are removed and it looks better. Then kept plugging away on 18. If anyone is up there before I am. There are a couple trees cut and bucked on 18 right beside the brush pile
