Green star destroyer in the pond on six. Such a bad throw, I deserve to be punished, but why take my baby? Reward for real. Kaz, be a hero!

Pond, near the rocks ... I nearly cleared it, thought I was gonna skim right on outta there, but it hit one of those rocks at the end near the dirt road, and then sunk. I've been a driver losing fool lately, just left a tie dye orc at Webster, three other drivers at Buff.

Re: West Thompson
Would love to do the open, but I think Mike and I are both gigging that evening. I was all about getting in on this one until my calendar b!tch-slapped me.
Tell you what, between the long grass, the poison ivy, the insects, and a depleted bag of discs (plus, Mike's got tendonitis in his elbow now), it's looking like it must be time to focus on actual life for a little while! Hope the open's a smooth sail, Steve.

Re: West Thompson
Lost a baby blue destroyer today my #1 driver.
Could use it back if anyone finds it. Has a huk labs stamp on top so if you see it being thrown take it LOL.
EDIT:
Went back to look for mine and couldn't find it but found a eric hansen disc.

Re: West Thompson
You know when your second shot on 17 is supposed to curl left toward the green and park right under the basket? But you put too much on it and it never turns and ends up in the woods dead ahead, almost near the next teebox?
That's where my tie dye champ Orc is currently located.
Might have my old phone number on it, so here I am advertising both my poor shot and the whereabouts of a nice disc.
I put a hex on this post so that anyone who goes to get my disc in order to just keep it will land OB on the hole ten rip rap for the next 100 rounds.

When you say "might have" your number... is there a chance it was unmarked? If so, I would say the curse might have worked. I know someone who found a tie-dye orc in the hole 10 rip rap at west t the other day... no joke! Maybe someone found yours and threw it in over there then said "efff it."
That would be pretty crazy but possible. If the disc was unmarked, can you describe the pattern/colors a little? It sounds like my buddy may have found your orc...

Re: West Thompson
I got my Orc back actually!
But I did throw a champ TieDye Firebird into the lake on 14 (at least I'm pretty sure that's where it landed). It's mainly orange, like a sunburst pattern of two different oranges. Pretty sure my name at least is on there. Dark green lettering?
Wait, are you (Sean) saying that's the description of a found disc, or did you ALSO lose a Champ Firebird on 14?

Sorry, I guess that was a bit ambiguous. I also lost my green champ firebird on hole 14 trying to throw the silly spike hyzer route during the tournament on Saturday.

Thanks for clarifying. Looks like the Champ Firebird is the ideal disc for hole 14. If you're aiming for the lake!

Re: West Thompson
Somewhat of a rough time out there yesterday:
My 10-yr old lost his dark blue Opto Diamond on hole 16, in the rough to the right somewhere
I lost a light blue champ teebird on 14, presumed in the lake
Tom R lost a brand new orange roadrunner, definitely in the lake on 16.
Any returned discs would be like totally awesome brah

Re: West Thompson
Starting about 6 or 7 years ago, I've tried to get permission to dive WTL but the rangers (who ARE in our corner) just relay the State of CT info that "NO ONE is allowed in WTL". So I can't dive (won't dive)...I play by the rules. Unfortunately some don't (rogues) and thus probably walk / sneak away with a lot of people's plastic. The past couple of years I haven't asked but see no changes in the state laws (nothing's changed) so assume that I still can't. And would bet on such. Just sucks that people don't obey laws.

Disc thieves were combing that pond today. Look for a red ranger, he may give it back to you. They also hit the lake on both sides of 16.
