Thanks Z. I'll see ya when I see ya. You could give it to Maubin if you see him, since we may be working on fixing Page's baskets together.

Awe, too bad. I had a bh Nuke OS to within 21 feet 2 days ago and had to "float" an Arrow into the basket to (luckily) get my birdie! You want a challenging course, play it with all baskets sans chains!!

I try not to  ...it's only when desperation rears its ugly head that I'm forced to  .

Karl

Ps: This was only the 2nd time I've played Page not in doubles and scored a different score (the second time) than the first time on 12 of the holes. This tells me (in a n=2 not statistically valid but better than no spread kind of way) that Jim and crew did a good job at making holes that cause "shot spread".

Update on the last missing basket:

I ran into Shawn Brunoli this past Monday and he informed me that the city of Bristol has something called a vandalism fund and a parks & rec dept. representative is working on replacing the unit at the fund's expense. Since this would keep a bunch of money in the course fund to use on other things, I've canceled the order I put in to Innova. The only drawback is now we're waiting for the city of Bristol's due process to run its course.

If anyone has the chance to do a Page damage report, please post your findings. I may be able to check it out on Saturday, as the closing date for my new house has been pushed back again.

I am expecting the worst. :(

Hopefully none of the baskets are broken, though I'm sure that there will be serious tree damage.

Baskets are fine. Some trees came down but course is playable. Not perfect. Hole 13 green needs clearing. Hole 14 from big trees to green. I didn't get a chance to look at 16-18. But very playable.

Thanks Chris. So I guess we can focus our efforts on the Thorn once things get back to normal. I think that if we report the problems at Page to the city, they will eventually take care of it.

Went out solo today, cleared the fairways of branches and such, cut down the "hanging" trees that I could as I was armed only with a handsaw. Hole statuses (stati?) are as follows: Cleared 1 through 4. 5 has a pile of stuff at the end, left of the path that I think should get dragged a little further away. 6 has the dangling branch front right of the tee that does not break under my weight. 7 has one short of the green. I cut some of the hangers down on the right side of the fairway. The hole plays like a downhill tunnel shot now with the higher hangers creating a ceiling. Cleared 9. 10, 11, 12 all looked ok. Couldn't even touch 13 with my equipment :(. 14 still has a pile on left fairway but I didn't think it was urgent. Cleared 15. Cut a couple of dangers on 16. 17 has a lot of downed branches that I thought because there were so many I'd simply cut them down into a lower pile so they could be thrown over. 18 was a b*tch but I was able to clear it out as well.
