Im sure chances are slim that I will see this disc again but I lost an orange C-PD in the field off to the right of hole 8's basket. It wasnt too far offline I just couldnt find it in the tall grass
I did find 2 discs while searching and turned them both in at the Maple Hill L&F the next day

Lost on 9/3/2012 - Champion Edition (CE) Valyrie, 1st run, RED, back nine.
Went to look to grab it from my bag on 9/8, and it wasn't there
Disc means a lot to me! Thanks.....

Got a call from someone who went swimming on 16 and found a disc I threw in there in April. Said he was calling the people who's name and number he could make out on the discs. It was a disc I really want to get back so I'm mailing him a disc as a thank you for sending mine to me.
Thought that one was gone for good.

Agreed. Just wanted to give the rest of you some hope since I always hear of people swimming for discs there and then stealing them.

MISSING!!!
PINK PRO YETI AVIAR PUTTER!!! My favorite!!
I threw it at #14 and it bouced off the hill and passed the basket and landed on the water perfectly on its plate.
It floated away from the shore and heading west from the basket by the strong wind. I finished my round and went back to find it and it as disappeared into the lake.
Can Karl, the disc-rescue scuba guy, able to recover it someday??

So I can't dive (won't dive)...I play by the rules. Unfortunately some don't (rogues) and thus probably walk / sneak away with a lot of people's plastic. The past couple of years I haven't asked but see no changes in the state laws (nothing's changed) so assume that I still can't. And would bet on such. Just sucks that people don't obey laws.
Karl
No, he can't.

Umm....
Ok, are we allowed to use disc retriever that I can throw far and then drag it to the shore?
It might or might not harm the underwater's environment. But still, is it allowed in CT?

There is now a Green Ranger usually on a Monday during the day working the pond.
Always the same story he lost his but found all these.
He had at least 7 today I think.
I heard him telling his buddy he is unemployed and has nothing else better to do LOL. Why not look for a job instead of stealing disk!
Steven Dakai wrote:Disc thieves were combing that pond today. Look for a red ranger, he may give it back to you. They also hit the lake on both sides of 16.

If you seen him, please tell him that if he finds PINK YETI AVIAR putter with silver Garrett Gurthie's stamped, please have it returned to me and he will be rewarded.
Thanks!

I haven't visited West Thompson Lake yet...but I'll bet more discs are lost there than ANYWHERE!! <g>
I read the reviews on DGCR...says if you are afraid of losing discs, stay away and play safe the four fairways that surround the two lakes...looks like everyone GOES for it! I like that.
I want to visit soon.
Can I borrow 3 discs?

We only need to be
smart when playing near the water. That's all.
Skip shots and overthrowing shots are the most common causes of lost discs in the water at WTL.

Sacrificed a Flat Top Roc to the water gods on 14 today.
Just missed the pin and dove in.
Enjoy it if you decide to fish it out.

I would recommend calling the number on the disc. Probably the easiest solution.
