Don,
I'm coming down to play both layouts tomorrow to get some practice in for the hop head festival and I was wondering if you had a course map or is the layout pretty easy to figure out? I haven't played this course since it was first open and I'm pretty sure the layout is nothing like what I remember.
Thanks
Steve

All you need to know is start behind Pavilion. Everything else is marked and pretty clear.

Can someone post a picture of one of these new baskets. I'm dying to know how the blue powder coat turned out.

Alright, I don't see any reason why we can't transplant Hyland to Rhode Island. It even rhymes.

The Team Challenge Finale is at Hyland tomorrow. I don't know if the course is closed, but casual golf might be close to impossible tomorrow.

Steve not sure if you made it out or not, but the new layout has changed quite a bit since it has opened. Hole 1 is behind brewery to the right of the pavilion next to green house. The T signs are not great but they do show where the baskets are. It is pretty easy to follow since it has been played a lot. You will remember some of the hole. After hole 9 walk down the road to the field on right you will see hole 10. The rest is straight forward.

This Saturday we will be building 18 platform Tee boxes. 12' long by 6' wide all out of presser treated 2"x6" and PT plywood. If anyone would like to come and help, that would be great. We will have plenty of tools. Just going to build them, installation will come later.

I would like to have players play both layout's. I will discuss with Steve Dodge tonight.
All OB's will be clearly marked and allow enough room to make a shot from the line.

Hole 1 will have more OB than usual. There is a fence on the left side of the road, over the fence is OB. If Hyland plant pumkins in the patch to the right of the road before VibrAM that area will also become OB.
Hole 2 The apple trees and hole 1's green will become a perminent OB also. So basically anything on the left side of the grassy road will be out.
Hole 10 I will add rope over the wall so there will be no questioning if you are in or out.

Anyone with a weed wacker looking to help, it would save me a lot of time and I could focus on more inportant things.
Al around 15 blue, some on 16, all of 17' fairway and all around the blue pin. Hole 5 and pins.
If you don't pay or play how can improvements be made.

This might help, but it might not. I see no reason to help a Righty anyway. :thumleft:

Don,

Are there membership bag tag or none? Just sign my name on the sheet as usual?

Just wondering about that since I'm the current 2013 member of this course. 8-)
