Scores are updated!

23 with scores in - 12 with the 3 minimum

Also, its not for sure yet but we may have expanded rosters this year...

Its looking like it might be 15 + 1 woman + 4 alternate spots

we will see...

In the meantime, get those 3 scores in!

I got my email pete, but you were still asking for more members to submit scores so I suggested trying those members by Phone instead of posting again in a thread that they may not have seen yet. And if you want me to do it for you, I need their names... Arse

Those names were listed in the first post ... its all good - my post had the desired affect - they got in touch with me.

Just a suggestion... each person who is submitting a score for themself should send me the following:

Day you played,
Who you played with,
& what the scores were of the players on your card.

Reason: Some people think their scores are getting to me from someone else and they may not be. Be responsible for your own submission - I won't mind the extra pm, email, or text - but I don't want to miss your score. Also its a good way to keep us all in check if we include each others scores.

Feel free to ask me if your not sure if I have all your best scores - sooner rather than later.

More scores in:

24 players have scores submitted.
14 of these players have the 3 score average.

So the rosters will be 20 (15M + 1 F + 4 alternates)

What this means is that only 16 can play each challenge but 4 are subs if someone can't make it.

At this time (assuming that those with only 1 or 2 get similar scores to complete their 3) the "starter team" line is #15 with a score of 77 cut line is after #19 with a score of 79.

Looking into whether we could play all 20 in each match by playing some in singles and some in dubs.

So if you do not have 3 scores in yet please try to get them in. You do still have until the end of the month, however we will be planning our first challenge in October and it will be good to have a general idea where we all stand.

Nice, Bob, good to hear.

I, on the other hand, am hoping I get enough rounds to qualify.

A few more scores updated today.

Also as we get closer to Oct 1st - if you think you are on the wrong side of the cut-line - don't count yourself out until everything is final ... some on the list may be trying out for multiple teams and others may decide the commitment is too much for them - so bottom line is... get 3 scores in as best as you can and see what happens.

I say those who dash hope by promising future success should be drawn and quartered, unless they're moving to borderland a team

There was someone I was trying to lure on to B2B, but he is going to the Crane Hill team as his buddies are there, even though he lives in JP! :? !

Too bad, as he was shooting in the low 70's when I played with him. :(

West T hasnt been to Borderland in years. How about a November match? We need to fill in a bye month.

Not anymore Manny - I took him off the list.

However another has been added and the scores are certainly going down!

There are 25 people who have submitted scores, 16 with 3 averaged.

Assuming this is the roster (which assumes a lot) as of today the 15th male roster spot has an avg score of 76.33

if rosters become expanded (16 plus 4 alternates) the 19th male roster spot has an avg score of 78.5.

So I know it's early and roster spots still haven't been finalized, and the captains are probably already doing this but can we figure out the date of the first match? Since we have to go up to Maine for it knowing ahead of time will help get most folks ready

Yeah, no one from West T has been to Borderland in years. You guys should come over to the Fall Finale.

I agree. I have exchanged a few pms with the captain of the Pleasant Hill team and he is open to the weekends below. In addition Roger informed me of some tourneys in Oct - some of which are on these dates listed.

10/15 - 10/16 Animalfest
10/22 - 10/23 Nefa Finals
10/29 - 10/30

So my guess is sat 29 or sun 30 would be the best options followed by either 15th or 16th.

With that being said the way we should do this is off the boards and get everyone's availability for oct.

If you are trying out for the team please PM Judge with this sooner rather than later. We will set up the team email later once we know the exact roster.

For those who are worried they will not make the team, it looks like there will be a Team Pioneer Brewing Co. Seems like they are taking first come first serve. Just another option if anyone is worried that they might miss out on the team challenge.
