I only wish I could be up there early prep prior to 9am(the earliest I can call to request permission) then a lot more could get done

it slowed things down a bit having club members around but towards end of day things seemed smooth..gladto have some club involvement so I will take the time to socialize to help bridge that gap between dg and club

tht would be awesome Gags as all the club members and myself need to break away at 10:30 for meeting at 11am annualmonthly meeting is 2nd sunday every month...

that said we wilhave multiple fires that need to be manned so extra dg bodies to help with that till meeting is over will be huge....then once DG stuff is settled politics wise I will be out there...then after there meeting closes they will all trickle backup with wobbly pops

I think the plan is for Guy to be there early staging fires for burning as we cant burn till 10am..nor call it in till 9am..so club member bob is gonna call it in sunday fromland line

I believe Guy will be there by 8am per his usual?

very sorry jeff and I had to leave early, I totally forgot today was the big poker day that I must play as this day happens only once every 2 months
contrary to what some might think I hate being a slave to the cpu...its colder inside my house then out...and when we had our break and went outside to chuck plastic and have smoke its like crap this sucks wanna be out there in woods....we almost have no chance of winning today anyways as our hearts are nowhere near being inside right now grrrr I want a grrrr gear shirt

I was pressed for time so scheduled items for next meeting as we have things to do before then anyways
meeting actually got a bit heated as all clubmeetings get crazy booze tends to do that
there was an issue between shooters/dg'ers that is now at top of list to resolve via signs down that invisible line..they now see what I meant 2 years ago if no sign was placed out
camping allowed but only one central fire
they want to be put on dgcr site but I explained the why's..agreed after kiosk and signage dgcr would be added/updated

Next time someone makes a hole in the road up. Repair the road. On my way out I scraped bad and almost got hung up on the rock. I ended up tearing off my wheel weight on my tire

With burning time running out I think we should burn only brush and small trees only. The logs are bogging down the fire and they look more presentable as is instead of blackened.
You wouldn't have anything to hold water to extinguish the fire?? I think snow may be very scarce by Wednesday.

Yeah that road was a mess
Jeff originally was stuck on a rock that was suction cupped in we popped it with a log but then he got stuck off side backing out

Of course he was embarrassed and angry as a few were watching and it was hard not to laugh

We then had another ford chain him and pull him... That dude hits a huge boulder and sinks these sweet shiny mag wheels in

Anyways as we were pulling out of lot Jeff says wish I had a metal shovel to gotten some of the ruts...

Not sure if it would have mattered it was soppy wet and deep and I actually said maybe it's better so guy knows where not to drive

Anyways Sunday sucked bad the plan was shot,i lost all day and kid got terribly sick hospital trip sick bronchitis that we mistook for just a cold and was hoping sun would take care of

I think from now on I will direct people to just park by one's green as that road is just gonna get worse

Thanks for following up on Sunday! If you're available, I'm pretty sure I'm wide open this Saturday and could walk the course if you're free. I'll have to dig up my gps, which might be a bit of a challenge just coming out of winter.
