Re: Borderland
What's common policy with unmarked discs? Unless you know the person who claims it and you know theyre an honest person, how do you know the person owns it. I suppose the best thing to do is leave a note in the lost and found and post here with the same message:
FOUND- Unmarked disc. Please send me a description of the disc you lost (type, color, weight) And if the correct disc is described I will return.
And that's being very nice because IMHO if you dont put your name on your discs, you obviously don't care if you get them back. (Don't want to sound like a hypocrite though. I have a putter or two that I have yet to put my name on.)
Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this topic. Seems to come up every couple months.

In the past I have found unmarked, new discs and kept them. Havnt found an unmarked disc in a while so the opportunity has not come up.

Re: Borderland
I found an unmarked disc my very first round at Borderland (a dx Whippet). Put it in lost and found. Six months later I went to check on a disc I lost (did have name and info, might have been a little faded but still readable). That Whippet was there, so I took it as a repayment for whomever kept my disc. Only disc I ever lost at Borderland and did not get back. As John G told me, to lose a disc you need to throw it far, not into the tree next to the tee

I did take some liberty with your actual statement... it was more along the lines of "you need to throw it far, not as short as you do". Either way, it does explain why I haven't lost many discs!!

Re: Borderland
Went to Hyland League yesterday for a considerably windy couple of rounds. My first thought: "well thank god I have my Glo Z Buzzz, I'll just throw that all day". To my surprise I looked in my bag and my numero uno favorite disc is nowhere to be found. Luckily I had just inserted a back-up Z Buzzz in my bag the day before, but it's still not the same, not quite as stable. DESPERATE to get this back. Reward
if found.
MISSING: Glo Z Buzzz. Only comes in one, clear-ish color. Has my name on it.

Found a black putter, but the names on the disc are really hard to read. The putter has Gold lettering "07 Pin High I Tour"?

Sent the new King into the brush on the left of hole 11's fairway playing w2b. Love to get it back since I just got it at Worlds two weeks ago and it was starting to fly well.

Lost the most treasured disc in my bag. Real beat star Xcal in the junk on the left on the man path hole 8 b2b. Kicked a tree or two and was nowhere to be found. Finding this thing means making the team, so reward is in effect.
