I am going to have fun here.

According to my records, you played one event (Tully Tournament) this past weekend and based on your 3rd place finish you would have amassed 81.818 points
HOWEVER, the Points Series Charter states that in order for you to receive said points, you must be an active member before the event.
According to the MEMBERSHIP list - you ain't current!

Did you renew before the event and it just has not posted yet?

Any reason I wasn't given my points for the Borderlands tourney and everyone else was??? eh eh? and it also looked like a few people that switched to AM2 got points for AM1 even though they didn't compete in AM1.?

Hi mike - I will take a look at the report I submitted to Danny. It can be tricky to complete.

No worries, Mike. Matt DeAngelis and I were just reconciling all things shirts for our vendor to apply proper credit and get us the items needed. I realized that I also swapped NEFA numbers for yourself, Adam Stearns, Matt Wakeman, and Pat Harris on the TD report, so that should be updated. In regards to your MA2 vs. MA1 comment, was there anyone other than Mike Rogan getting MA1 points that should be given MA2?

Thanks for keeping us honest.

Also, the PI goes away after about 2 weeks. You'll be back ;)

If there is only one person signed up in a division doesn't the person get the points anyway? I don't see anything listed for me in the Newton Hill Open. Just looking for clarification. For reference, there are multiple other occasions where other women have received 100.00 points for being the only person signed up in their division.

YES - As the winner of a one person division, you actually receive 100.1 points
The reason you did not see any points for Newton Hill is that your NEFA# was missing from the TD report. I have added it and the points will show on the next update - UPDATED!

been tooo long since I cared about this thread lol

http://nefa.com/Content/TD_Corner.asp

The first and by far most important thing that you can do before applying to run a NEFA Points Series event is to read the Points Series Charter NOTE: Link to charter temporarily removed pending release of the 2011 Points Series Charter, coming soon. All information you need should be contained within that document; be it the fees for running a Points Event, requirements (such as required divisions and mandatory access to bathroom facilities) and much more. You will also find a link to the Points Series Charter in the left-hand navigation on this page.

Upon completion of your event, you will be required to submit the results to NEFA within 48 hours. This is done using a templated MS Excel document which can be found in the left-hand navigation. Download the file and save it to your local machine - When you have finished completing the spreadsheet with the results information, you may send an email

not a complaint just an observation
also might add you need windows office yes some of us still don't use, and may cause a delay in reporting

48 hours seems stiff as well, esp when no recourse is offered anyways, what would really happen?
Maybe a better way of stating the urgency of points submission is a better way to go

A place describing auction might help as well, save rick a lil time w/direct contacts or explaining 6 zillion times, also raffle entries info could be inputted

Just some feedback def not complaints please don't take the wrong way, as I really feel the efforts are huge by recent BOD's

Nefa BOD member Bill Bertera offered help, I like that effort put forth by the BOD to help a TD!!! Thanks!

Matt D and Rick were also great during the process leading up to events
Thanks!

Tony,

I recalculated your points.
When I include NH States Points (88.889) in your TOP5 - I remove Hill Yeah Points (77.778) - giving you a net increase of 11.111. points. That takes you from 428.965 to 440.076. However, your overall rank remains unchanged at 12th place.

The points from the FDR Freeze Fest for AM Master and AM Grandmaster seem to be based on the old point scale. Could you correct those please? Thank you.

I think they are correctly calculated. If it was the old system, it would be at least 100 points for a win.

Matt what did you look at? The report states the winners earned 100+ points for the win in divisions of less then 10.

I agree, the Pro numbers look like the new formula, but AM looks like the old formula.

You are correct - some of the points are based on the old formula.
I will correct them as I process the update for Vineyard.
I checked Kisco and Vineyard and the points formula is correct.
