Totally! The only acceptable method is a round of Rochambeau.

Yup, b/c you guys play your last challenge on the weekend before the FINALS, how else are we supposed to break the tie, this is why next year it'll be required that the last challenge be completed by March 31 so that ties can be broken in the 2 week window leading up to finals.

who is in Top finals???

How do we beak the three way tie for third? strength of schedule and heads up? coin flip or throw off is not an option. People need to plan their lives and we need an answer soon.

How is a coin flip not an option? You realize they two courses are like 10 minutes apart right? Or are you saying you're not going if you lose and have to go to the bottom half?

We can break this tie today with a coinflip.

Heads up is our only tiebreaker, unfortunately. We can't really add one now and screw a team over. Next year there will be more tiebreakers so this ish doesn't happen again.

its a [bleep] cop-out that's why

we play all season with the toughest schedule and you never thought tie's where possible or did not plan for them

so you mess up and a team gets screwed with a coin flip

where does it say a coin flip is a rule?????

Making a four team super finals is a huge folly, just revert back to last years format.

It's only a coinflip if you can't play for it. Since the mighty Whit has spoken and said playing for it is out of the question because people have lives they need to plan for and can't be done. I don't see why you can't play for it Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. The two courses are minutes apart so time is not an issue.

Oh let's just change the whole format that everyone voted on, except you because you were MIA. You should have actually been involved in the conversation regarding finals if you think it's such a huge folly. Let's abandon match play, which we play all year, to please Whit...

How do you think the tie should be broken? I've asked for your input and once again got nothing...

I will send out emails/texts/pms to the captains involved tonight when I get home so we can try to make some progress on breaking this tie.

Heads up tie breaker isn't screwing a team. There's a clear winner and loser, and the results are a reflection of matches played. A coin flip is completely unrelated to any of the matches played.

Cran beat CL therefore has tie breaker over CL. NASA beat Cran therefore has tie breaker over CL. CL did not beat either team. Logic says???

For the record, I personally don't care. I am looking forward to playing either of the courses for the first time.

If CL and NASA did not play head to head, how do they have tie breaker over them? What about home vs away? That is a huge advantage? I think NASA beat Cran at home right. Cran also beat CL at home. 3 way playoff, two players from each team, sudden life! I have no horse in the race, but it seems like the only fair way...

How about sending someone to the B pool? A lot of $ up for grabs at MH that day!

Cran lost to NASA at NASA
3 way playoff Friday afternoon
One round. Two best rounds go to top half finals
Loser goes to bottom half.. Any ties go to a
Sundden death playoff.

Just my idea. Please share info with teammates and let's try and settle this

My idea, Use the Team Scores from each challenges they played then add all it all up. Who ever has the most points wins the Tie breaker.

My thoughts exactly. I realize it sucks, but with only one tiebreaker in place you can't just give Nasa the edge over Capt Lawrence. They both finished with the same record and didn't play each other, so H2H can't be applied. I'm hoping they can play for it.

Either way, you should really be talking with the other captains at this point. It's whatever you all decide on. Have you already discussed and cannot agree to anything?
