Do they have one with 2 black eyes? They should work on that. Maybe, if I'm allowed to play, I can use this like Jordan used the Flu to play outta my mind.

I'm in for the 13th but we really do have a ton of work to do on the course before then. I can help the next two saturdays but I think its going to take more than that to get it back close to the way it was.

Besides massive hauling of branches on all holes this would have to be done before challenge

Hole 3 tee
Hole 4 fairway
Hole 7 approach./basket
Hole 10 basket
Hole 11 fairway

Other holes could use some work but can be played. I don't see how we can play a match until those listed above are taken care of.

Disagree.
Why do we need to get it in ASAP? We have 2 months for the neutral challenge. Just use December or January for the Crane rematch.
If the rematch is on the 13th then how are we gonna get the course cleaned up and all the widow makers down before then? Totally agree with Rob. I don't want to be up against the gun doing manual labor the night before a challenge, when we have a whole season to get the rematch in.

Do it in Dec or Jan, weather and conditions are the same for both teams.

We got a match to schedule with panthorn Dec/jan two weekends will be gone due to Christmas and new years. And I want as many matches as possible not in the snow, which also stops the chance of a match getting cancelled again. Played maple today and yesterday and its not fun sliding on every tee pad forced to stand still drive everything and search for discs. Want to play golf in the most ideal conditions possible. We wait till Dec/jan and we might be playing in 3ft of snow, all set with that. ill get a chainsaw up to the course this week and start working.

OD, we're not gonna be cancelling challenges cause of snowfall. Massive tree destructive storms are a different story and are pretty rare.

I'm out for the 13th. Can do the 20th or pretty much any other day.

I agree with Jeff on this one. A lot of us have our own stuff to deal with from this storm this week. I also have class on the 12th and I don't think my wife would appreciate me scheduling the 3rd Sunday in a row to play. I'd rather play in the snow and deal with the conditions considering everybody will be playing the same course. Also, if we can get Crane in before Xmas chances are we won't be playing in that much snow.. It doesn't usually start coming down consistently until Jan. (disregard freak show that was last weekend).

mike.. question... what does a tree say to a guy with two black eyes?

i will be talking with rick miller to see when we can get F.o.N.H to help out with clean up..

the panthorn match probly wont be til january from the limited contact with their captain that i have had..

agree with the idea to do the clean up before rescheduling, maybe some of those guys would come in and help too

and i need everyones team dues so i can order the patches and get out our TC dues.. patches will be iron on with a stitched outline of the logo (no boring boy scout shape).. the sooner i get the $$ the sooner i get the otder out..

I might be in for Friday If we could start either by like 10 cuz I gotta get my kid at school at 220. I need to know if I'm going to be able to play for Sunday. I know I hurt my face and not my arms or legs or body but I don't want to follow through just to find I'm bleeding from the pressure generated by the cannon's shockwave.

I would say sew on. Sew Simple in Tatnuck does patches for like $3 each. And the Iron on ones aren't the best they don't really hold all that long. If we got all our shirts, vests or jackets together they would probably do a little discount. Just an idea.

at team meetings we decided to go with the patches for now so you guys are able to put them on whatever you want.. shirts, hats and vests can get done with a little more planning and team communication

Hey, I apologize but I can't make Sunday's match. I have to supervise line crews working on the power restoration for NG... so I will be tied up all day Saturday and Sunday.

If, I sincerely hope for the people without electricity, power is restored by Saturday then I'll be at Maple.

Bummer Mitch. I was looking forward to seeing you out there. Been hearing good things about you. We totally understand that you gotta keep going at work. I still have neighbors that have been out this whole time. Plus from your side of it you want to pick up all the hours you can I'm sure with Xmas coming up.

Jeff, you still looking at going to Maple today? What time?

Yeah. I'm heading up a little after 10, maybe for 10:30. We'll see how long it takes to get my ass in gear, then I'm gonna warm up in the field near my house then head over. Gonna practice Golds for the dubs round.

Hey so are we meeting @ Newton tomorrow to do clean up?? I did some today: 18, 1, 2, 3, and 4 are clear. I didnt even get to see the rest of the course so I dont really know how bad it is. Then I wanted to see who is down to throw a round @ Maple for some practice.
