Logic?
I'm having a hard time finding it here.
Plus...we beat NASA head to head like 10 months ago. Using that is just as logical as your statement. Which is not logical.

Chuck good to know how u feel about that ^. Would not have been able to gues that.
Going forward can we get some replies to Friday playoff option?
Let's try to find something that works for all since we know what doesn't work for all

No horse in this race. However, I have run various leagues before and had to break ties. If your rules only call for H2H then in a 3-way tie the norm is to do that via winning % in H2H games. Wouldn't seem like one would have to go beyond such step as you'd have 1-0, 1-1, and 0-1.
Here's how the NFL breaks 3 way ties.
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format).
1.Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
2.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3.Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
5.Strength of victory.
6.Strength of schedule.
7.Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8.Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9.Best net points in common games.
10.Best net points in all games.
11.Best net touchdowns in all games.
12.Coin toss

NASA went 2-1 in their division.
Capt Larry went 2-1 in their division.
Cran went 1-2 in their division.
Cran should be the team out. No playoff needed.

Incorrect. Tie Breaker #1 is all that is needed as H2H amongst the tied teams is based on winning percentage. Do the math

What are you talking about Paul? All 3 teams didn't play each other. H2H doesn't apply.
Titan, go cuddle with Dodge with a yingling. Make him happy.

For a 3-way tie the NFL tie breakers do not require all tied teams to have played each other:
1.Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs).
They simply base it on winning percentage in the games that were played amongst the 3 tied teams.
Again I have no horse in this race just pointing out the way that this H2H tie breaker would have been administered by the NFL since I read that H2H is the only tie breaker in the Team Challenge rules.

Paul I think your are misinterpreting rule 1. Rule 1 is only if all 3 clubs in a tie have played each other in the regular season. In this case they haven't. So you would have to go to rule 3 or 4 in the 3 way wildcard tiebreaker.

Plus, no matter how people look at, Finals Format has nothing to do on how you break ties after the regular season. The NFL Tiebreakers are used to determine the seeding for playoffs. Just like last year how we used it to determine the seeding for finals, it should be the same this year. I'll put money on that captains vote to use the NFL tiebreaker system for next year. But this year it is thrown out the window for no reason. We need to be consistent as a league or we will continue with all the drama and changing rules for tiebreakers.
This years finals format should be awesome and is heading in the right direction on what we play all winter long.

and most of all.....the NFL has NOTHING TO DO WITH DISC GOLF!!!!
clear rules make everything better.
next year captains can create it collectively with todd.

Exactly.
Like I've said 100 times, we can't just make up tie breakers in the middle of the season or post season. I agree we need more definitive tie breakers.
Last year no one had an interest in playing off, so another tiebreaker had to be used. This is not the case this year.
