I was there at 10 am this morning at Newton Hil with chain saw in hand but Al Gore was a no show. Eric, Dena, Keith and Rob did show up and helped clear 17, 18, 14 , 13, 10, 11 and most of 8. Eric was a serious cut up with his saw so the branches just need to be put in piles off the course. If you play the course just take a few branches to a pile as you play, it will be real helpful. Thanks to all that showed up, Dena brought a girly chain saw if you would call it that, electric with a 3.5 inch blade but she found out size does matter.

I wonder if the greens fee will apply to the team tomorrow, at the challenge at Maple Hill.
I'd be prepared either way.

They said it will more than likely be half price. We will have to pay something...

Thanks to all the guys who took one for the team and sat out a round today. Must have been tough being the first challenge and all. I gladly volunteer to sit out a round if/when we have extra players again. Probably fair for everyone to at some point, but that's Brad's call.

Yes we got our asses handed to us, but we all know that score would have been completely different if the match was at home. Nobody went away easy and many went down to the wire against much more experienced players.
Maple's a tough course to play against a team full of people who've been playing it forever. Can't wait to get back to the HILL.

Proud of everyone. Proud to be on a great team with great people. Tough break today so many matches came down to the wire. Just caught an experienced talented team in a must win situation. No doubt in my mind that will be our only loss of the season. No one has a reason to hang their head can't wait for crane at home looks like the first weekend in December. Be ready to crush.

Definitely very close matches. I had a chance to take the singles matchup and Dave and I should have had that doubles round but we just couldn't close. My nerves definitely got the best of me for this first time around.

Same here. Let opportunities and the lead slip away in both rounds, and lost by a hair each time. That's how you learn. Won't be making those errors next time.

Do we have a conversation going on where and when we will be playing Panthorn? I was hoping we could push this back into Jan as I may not be able to play at all in Dec. I have to move out of my house for 2 weeks. A good portion of my stuff has to be out by Dec. 5th and I should be allowed back in on the 20th then we have Xmas and New Years. Of course I would say if those challenges need to happen for more people in Dec. then go for it. I probably won't be able to make it.

Yo, Sunday sounds good to me for a clean up day. Maybe a tag round, i would love a shot at #1. I just hope nobody asks me to work a side job, i do really love making a [bleep] load of money. But not as much as banging chains. Im focused on the dam big one on Saturday.

I'm down for the workday sunday. Me and Jeff cleaned up seven. Did some work on 3 and 4 I'm gonna have to get a pole saw to cut down a branch that's taking away the left side gap on 3. Bill if u could get that chainsaw to brad it will definitely help. We should get a tag round in also or a matchplay scrimmage within the team. It's always good to practice matchplay.
