I thought I did alright with picking up those two guys, got both via trades. I've been able to at least get double digit pts out of the position the last two wks which is pretty much all I can hope for.

Im rolling with Mcfadden in a couple leagues. Pretty scary since who knows how many carries he gets and matchup isnt great. I have Manning also tonight so im hoping for a close/high scoring game.

I was afraid to roll with him but I am happy that I have him available for the next two weeks.

Good start with Knowshon. McFadden could be a help in the coming weeks.

Myers was a total bust. Rudolph and Gresham should both do better than 1 measley catch.

Picking up Moreno was pretty huge. He is better than MaGahee ever was. Riding them Broncos all year.

Not off to the start I was hoping for...

17 from Decker
27 from Moreno
13 from Denver D/ST

already up 56-0

In other news...the team that had Percy Harvin dropped him. BIG mistake on his part. We have IR slots on our roster in case a player of keeper status goes down. I snagged him and put him on my IR. I can now freeze him as an 8th round pick next year 8-)

A healthy Percy Harvin is gold, but he can also be fools gold since you never know when he will be out for a LONG time. I would have done the same for an 8th round pick though.

Gotta choose between Morris and Harvin to freeze in the 8th round.

Already freezing Hernandez in the 9th.

Who sits: James Jones, Mike Wallace, or Danario Alexander?

I might sit Wallace here. Big Ben is back, but it remains to be seen how healthy that arm is going to be.

I'd sit Alexander. That whole team has been a dissapointment.

I've got some issues with my RB2 and Flex spots (rb/wr). Standard scoring.

Right now I have in

RB2 - Mathews (yuck, but might be my best chance at something)
FLEX - Steve Johnson (hammy might be an issue, buffalo ran 75% of the time last wk)

Other options are: Deangelo Williams, Montell Owens, Michael Bush
- Kenny Britt, Doney Avery, Alex Green, Bilal Powell are the best availabe free agent options.

I started the week off pretty well with 15 from Prater last night, and he only got 1 off of Janiwhaterverhisnameis.

It funny that I am a Packers fan and I am currently sitting Jones. Sounds like I should get him in the game. All the more reason to root for him to score Sunday night.

I would play Mathews and DeAngelo. I would be afraid of Stevie's hammy to start him. Nothing hurts worste than a goose egg.

Stevie Johnson practiced today so thats generally a good sign. For me if someone practices Friday I assume they are a Green light unless i read something new. Ignore the practices earlier in the week, its all about Friday. So i wouldnt bench him for the hamstring unless something new comes up.

Serious Matchup concerns with the Rams is another matter but the options you listed i doubt id bench him for any of those. He is still their WR1. Might want to check on the matchup issues before you decide. I know Rams have great pass rush and bills line is really banged up,,not sure how banged up though.

Matt is right about goose eggs, thats the biggest thing im thinking in the playoffs. Anything but a goose egg. Owens, Bush, Avery, Britt i could see big zero's from any of those guys.

Good luck!

They are calling for 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow, with temps not getting above 35 and winds around 12-20 mph. Thinking of sitting Rogers and playing Luck, but I'm torn! Rogers has been disappointing this year fantasy wise. He was looking like a good matchup this week, but now with the uncertain weather forecast, I am questioning the start. Thoughts?

I have that as an option as well but could never sit Rodgers. I don't think it would be a horrible move though. Luck has a good matchup and has been playing some great football.

Keep in mind that Stroika is a diehard Packer fan. If it is cold, windy and snowing it may be a good idea to play Luck in the dome. The only other thought is, Pack can not run the ball so they may have to throw anyway. I would go Luck. I am playing Luck over Stafford.

The Packers will be throwing the ball. They have nothing for a running game with both Benson and Starks on IR. I heard they were trying to sign Dorsey Levens.

Yup. Karma's a bitch.

There wasn't any matchup between our rosters that would have resulted in me losing this week unless I left roster spots empty :eye:

Now i'm playing the team I wasn't even expecting to play

Ya crazy sunday. Winning a playoff week because of a Defense (knock on wood), lol. Nothing is locked yet but they were huge in 3 leagues of mine. 70+ in the nefa league is psycho. 40+ in my other ones though which is still friggin crazy. One league i started Cleveland over Seattle and im hoping it doesnt cost me.

Just like a great kick off a tree in disc golf, it wasnt intended but I'll take it.

ya kyle rudolph wth? Didnt see if it was an injury or something else.

Need less than 32 from Arian Foster and the Texans D tonight and I've got a W.

Left a bunch of pts on my bench tho that I hope don't cost me. Played Rudolph for the fat 0 pts, not even a single catch, he probably just stayed in and blocked all day for AP.

Made it through the first round of playoffs and now need to make some tough choices. Any help will go a long way.

QB:
Luck
Stafford or
Kapernick(sp)

RB:
McFadden V KC
Rice Playing Denver
Spiller Will get all the carries, but playing Seattle
Moreno Tough to sit after last week, Vs. Balt.
pick three.
Left Matthews off the list, as I don't see a scenario where I play him over these other four.

Defense:
San Fran against the machine that is the PATS O
or pick up
Detroit D against Arizona

Id go with Luck and Stafford for sure. Arizona has looked god aweful. At one point i thought they had decent Pass D but i wouldnt even say that now. Kapernick would be like a high risk play although the potential for some rushing TD's is there. Id be worried how Pats play him so id go Stafford.

Rb decision might be easy. Mcfadden jacked up his ankle again, so id watch that closely. If he is starting i think you have to play him. He has the best matchup by far out of your 4 RB's.

Grab Detroit. Better to play a good matchup than worry about the Pats. They are really clicking right now.

good luck!

I made the playoffs in all 7 of my leagues, here's hoping for a few championships and to get paid! Good luck everyone in the playoffs, unless you're playing me!!!

Detroit may be a great defense waiver wire pick up this week if you need a defense. I picked them up in a couple leagues.

Well I moved on to face the 1 seed.

Picked up the Lions D for this week and somehow the Bradshaw owner who I am playing this week let me snag David Wilson. I need help at RB so Ive got my fingers crossed Bradshaw doesn't play.

Not a huge fan of a lot of my matchups this wk though.
