Tom S wrote:Last night I took the first string. My arch nemesis Mark took the second. I needed to beat him by 6 in the third to have highest average. He strikes in the second frame, oh no! I came back with a spare, spare, strike combo that pretty much decided things.
Mark talked to somebody there who said they are looking for another league team for the next 10 week league session- Team Nefa?
How much, what caliber of players in the league, time/day of week, ect.??

Tom S wrote:$15 per player, Tuesday night, 90% handicapped
The guy told me that some players have an average of 104 or so, some people have an average of about 50. Unfortunately with the handicap, you need to constantly get better each week.
If we were to do this, we would need 4 people. The next three weeks scores would be used to determine handicaps. The second 10 week session starts in 4 weeks. The $15 covers 3 strings of bowling and $4 goes into the pot. I believe shoes are included in that price though not 100% sure. Time for this shindig is 6:30 start to about 8:00 on Tuesdays.
This price is only a few dollars more than what we pay now. However, the commitment would be required every week... Some of you don't seem like you have what it takes for that based on who has been showing up over the past few weeks...
Scores for last nights bowling will be up soon for those of you keeping track... Silly arch-nemesis, who would expect to get 2 spares and a srike in three of the first four frames...

If we get an even number we should do team bowling. Not the random way, the pick two competitive teams way. Its more fun when you have people routing for you.

Have to pass again. After this weekend, I went to the Dr. and was put on another round of antibiotics and steriods. I'm really sick, but Dani and I are really looking forward to this again this year. It's good fun!

It was a fight between Tom and I to the finish with Tom coming away victorious again... Arg!
Top Single: Tom = 116
Top Three Strings: Tom = 325
(I was close behind with a 306)
Between the two of us, 16 spares and 1 strike and both of us broke the 300 mark in the same week, sick!
