each person is getting 2.. they should be here by the end of next week.. they do have clothing and can embroider it but ppl have said that they want to go through friends/relatives.. if we can all agree on something as a team than i will have no problem getting it done... what we would need is everyone at the same place at the same time so we can discuss this as a group.. have an open discussion and come to a conclusion...

there will be a few extra patches and seeing how we dont have 20 members i am putting in the extra $$ to cover the cost.. if anyone would like an extra patch they are $5.. rick and keith have already put in for their extra patch..

Hey, Rob! On Saturday morning, that pack of smokes and lighter you left on the bench on hole 1 Friday night could not have been found by a nicer guy. You WILL get the lighter back.

Sucks having to lose like that today. Hats off to Crane for their comeback.
Awesome having all of you as my teammates, win or lose. No better way to spend a Sunday IMO.
Can feel the team starting to gel. The wins will come.
We'll get it done at Hylands in January.

Rob Belanger wrote:Could have hit a putt that I usually make. I appreciate the team being supportive but I'm not going to let it go til our next match 2 months from now.The team voted me in for my putting and i didnt hit it. [bleep] feeling missing that putt when Bill put us in striking distance. Anyways see you all at Hyland in January.

You can't think like that Rob. That's a lot of pressure to put on one putt. Tough putt to make too. 30 ft putt to decide a team challenge with everyone watching.

I played way below my level and ended tied in my singles match. If I played half decent, I woulda won and gotten another point for the team, and there never would have been a playoff. So blame me for putting us in that situation.
A few of the other guys said they weren't making many shots during the dubs round. So same scenario there.

You played great man and that's why we put you out there.

back to the thread..

lets keep this is perspective.. a great TC match was what we had and we ended on the other side of a win.. no worries.. we live and learn from what we can control.. we cant let anger and aggression be the main focus for too long.. we as a team know that we have more matches to go and should perform increasingly better in all of them.. no one person is to blame.. we play our best and accept the results.. i would love to have a match right around the corner but this may be the time we need to focus on our competitive play.. heartbreak is one aspect of the game.. if we never feel it than we may take for granted the future outcomes.. remind ourselves daily that we play a game we love with friends.. practice is what we need to perform better and it is what we will do.. lets make it a time to gel as a team and overcome these obsticles by being a team.. if anyone would like to meet this coming sunday for a team practice, maybe at hyland, then please respond here.. hope eveyone will be in good spirits and ready to dominate the next match... now lets go, TEAM NEWTON!!!

I won't be around Sunday. But think I'm gonna play Hylands Saturday @11. Yaskis posted under Happening/Hookups about a single/dubs event there at 11. They're meeting under the pavilion.
I'm gonna hit that up.
Get on up there for a round Saturday if you're free.
Can put tags up against each other for our singles scores.
See you there.

I'm pretty sure EVERYONE on our team (except for Brad.) wants to play for Newton tags at courses other than Newton.
Dare I start a poll and see what the results are?
