Re: Cross Farms
Was very dissapointing to be playing the alts today, and to arrive at hole 7 to find the basket gone. The idiots took the whole thing apart, and left the cage that was attached to the tree and thats it. If anyone sees a discatcher in someones yard with a getto tray, let us know please. Les you should probably get out there and unlock and take the cage so they cant come back with bolt cutters to get the rest of the basket.

Re: Cross Farms
I removed what I could of the baskets on 5 and 10 until they can be secured. The trays are still locked to the tree.

Re: Cross Farms
Thanks again Eric, I will get the rest out of there tomorrow.
For those of you out there that might know something, please help us out here.
I guess next time the baskets will have to be cemented in, locked at every point and with GPS trackers.

Re: Cross Farms
Ultimately we need a workday very soon to get those baskets put in on the alt holes with time for the cement to cure.
How about Monday evening ?????
We need to coordinate with JayPro on this.
Also, some of the tee signs need to have holes redug, then put back with rock shims, etc.
Work for anyone who can get out there includes: stick pickup all over, fern weed whacking in several locations, some mild tree pruning and some overhead branch elimination. We would appreciate any help that can be given. Remember good course Karma translates into a good game. Give freely and you will get bonus for your efforts.

Re: Cross Farms
Clayton, how about you and me meet on Monday at about 5:30 at hole 8's tee. We can dig a new hole for the tee sign and I think we need to check the other tee signs around the course as well. Then we can do some additional trimming, weed control etc.
Anyone else out there who might have time are welcome to join in.

Sounds good Les. I don't really have anything in the way of tools, I always use Jays' and he is on vacation
. Bring anything extra you got for me, and I'll do everthing I can.

Re: Cross Farms
Much to my surprise a great group of people showed up to help out and much was accomplished in a couple of hours.
Tee sign reinserted into the ground on #8
Alt 8 both tee side and landing side, cleared out, thinned, trimmed and whacked - you'll see
Alt 9 whacked
Branches trimmed over teebox on 10
alt 14 cleaned up around mid fairway
alt 18 fairway opened up and much improved
hole 1 just past tee - bushes topped
hole 5 more fringe of the hill whacking and on down to the pin and past into the alt 5 fairway
hole 6 fairway fringe and around pin whacked.
Good workday - good job workers - I award you all 1 course Karma point.
See you Sunday.
