Mike Dussault wrote:I may need an intervention. Why do I keep considering benching Ray Rice? Is it wise? McFadden, Moreno, Rice, and Spiller. I like them all. I can only play three. I want your top three and reasons why. Help me out if you want to, and think you can talk some sense into me.
Man, Denver is tough and they have shut down several good RB this year. Martin played them just a couple weeks ago and was held to 50yrds. Martin and Rice pretty simlier style backs also. You are only benching one though from that list and i doubt id bench Rice over Spiller and the Seattle matchup. Both matchups are terrible. anything comes up bad about Mcfaddens ankle and obv the decision is made for ya.

I think Hilton has the best matchup against Houston's secondary. They've given up the most pass yards through the air the last 4 weeks.

Think im rolling with my boy Greene over Mcfadden. Tough decision though and i might change my mind. Both have good matchups.

Matt Stroika wrote:That is a good problem to have Mike but never bench Rice. Spiller is money now that that other guy is out of the picture. It looks like DMC will play so I would and am benching Moreno to play him.
I changed my mind since I am projected to win and will roll with Knowshon. I feel like the center of his scoring distribution curve is higher than DMC even though the top end potential isn't as high. I don't need top end, I need 50-75 yards and a couple of grabs and think he will do it.

Decided to bench Spiller. Tough match up and the Bills are not exactly a playoff team.

Ok, McFadden agains the chiefs or Torrey Smith?

Assuming he plays, DMC >>> Torrey Smith this week.

I swapped out Jets D/ST for Seattle D/ST at the last minute. Looking like I might regret that one. And go figure...Denver D/St who I didn't even consider puts up 23pts.
I rolled with Morris in my flex...worked out well.
Had my finger on the "enter" button to swap out White for Jacoby Jones but didn't do it.
Still in a close one. Will know what the deal is after the 4pm games. Not too happy with Jamaal Charles right now

Ouch!
I was nervous in my matchup but ended up winning handily with Hernadez putting up good numbers.
Guaranteed at least $150 and heading to the championships

I'm going to be sweating this Monday Night game hard.
Up 10 in my biggest money league vs Jets Defense
Up 23 vs Chris Johnson
Up 14 vs Rob Bironas
Made a big mistake picking Reggie F'n Bush over Decker. I'm praying this doesn't kill me. Also Detroit defense pickup got me negative points, which also sucks considering ATL was my other DEF. Opponent also got negative from Pats defense, he got -2 points and gained points on me! Pretty funny.
Got crushed in 2 other leagues, both had Brees, Crabtree and Morris. One had Andre Johnson and the other had AP. Huge points from all of them and there was nothing to be done to win.
Hope everyone else crushed and Good Luck in the MNF game if you need it!

Nice job! My favorite league is down 32 and i have 4 guys 2nite. Greene, Locker, Cumberland and Rob Bironas. League only pays top two so if i lose i get nothing. Going to be close.

Any sidebet action for the NEFA league playoffs?

Assuming CJ2k doesn't get me negative 2 points, I think you know the answer to this.
What'd you have in mind?

Not looking good in your money league, unless there's a strange set-up for defense. You should be fine in the other two leagues but Bironas might get you.
Detroit D was the sexy pick this week and a lot of people got burned by them!

They're all money leagues. Comeonson, you should know this!
Standard ESPN defense scoring. I'm hating life right now and confirmed my hate for everything Detroit, including that bi*** Stafford.

Unreal. Cj doesn't come through and the Jets score 9 points for a 1 point victory! Please Brady (god) no stat corrections.
All 3 above moving on to the championship and the nefa league too. Let's go!

You win? Would've been exactly 32 points in my leagues!

In the final of 1 of my 3 money leagues, didnt make playoffs in one and got knocked out in the semi's of the other, only paying the champ in that one.
Now, I go into the final where I can still win $500 with a win, top scoring team in the league +276 on the next closest person.
I have a conundrum at the RB position.
I am starting D. Martin and J. Charles.
In my W/R/T spot I can go with either Stevan Ridley or Torrey Smith.
Torrey Smith is hit or miss... but the Ravens have alot on the line and the NYG Pass D sucks.
With Ridley I am concerned from his fumbles last week, and the possible repercussions on his PT.
On Defense would you roll with Cincy vs. Pitt or San Diego vs. NYJ?

I have Torrey and will not be playing him coming off a concussion so by default would play Ridley. I can't speak to Hoodie's tendancies but Ridley has been solid pretty much all year. Why stop using him now?
I feel like Pittsburgh may go off this week. I am planning on starting San Diego DEF in my championship.

And I'm going to play the other side of that matchup with the Jets D.....unfortunately I'm now playing for third place (3 places get paid). I'm still pissed....lost by one pt last week....I've been praying for some sort of stat correction the last two days

Alright...here's the matchup I have in the championships. What do you guys think?
My team is on the left
Brees vs RG3 or Schaub
White vs A.J. Green
Decker vs Andre Johnson
Wayne vs Bryant
Foster vs Chris Johnson
Morris vs D.Wilson
Hernandez vs Olsen
Moreno vs LeShoure
Jacoby Jones vs Blackmon
Suisham vs Gano
Denver vs Houston/New England
I think this is a toss-up right now. If Roddy White doesn't practice tomorrow, I think I may bench him and throw Jacoby Jones (with no Torrey Smith most likely) in the WR slot and bump Ballard into the other flex spot.

I like your team better Erik. I also have Roddy White and am a bit scared to play him after last week. I can plug in Antonio Brown or a hot Michael Crabtree as my WR2, both of whom I like better than Ballard.
Jacoby Jones should be good especially with return yards and Torrey out.
