Re: RF&G (Free To Play)
Another great day of burning for Guy and I
4 huge debris piles along right edge of 5's fairway and old trail down to the tee
We have finally rounded the corner on 5
Next burn day we start charging towards the green
At this pace we may actually burn every pile on the course
we also had 8 players today, 3 groups...1 group of 4 played 2 rounds serious business playing 2 rounds of RFG
We love seeing players enjoying the course..esp in the end of January
Thanks allwho have been giving the course love of late
RFG's breakout year has begun!
Come join in on the FUN

Re: RF&G (Free To Play)
Nice ^^ 3 piles that day
Today thanks to Jeff, Guy and I
We burned a monster debris pile between 5-6
we had 6 fires blazing today
The stream provided a great water source it was in full flow
Next burn we continue up hole 6, then we advance to 7's green/8's tee
8's fairway will be nice to reach, extra hands for that beast will be nice
Till next time prob Friday 2/5 10am-3pm

Also, is it still free to play?

Jeff, The Royalston General store 1/4 mile down rt68 from the course sells them. That is the easiest way. With that membership you can bring friends and they play for free.

Re: RFG ($5 per day or $50 year membership and guests play free)
Guy and I finally got back up to RFG today.
We cleaned the entire front 9 of any storm debris, not much actually.
Wow what a gorgeous track of land! the work finally shows crystal clear
We then shifted to determining what our final choices for the forced design change
Holes 1 & 2 are being eliminated
we have decided to back of the range line even more(requested), and loop the course instead of having that walk back to hole 1 for a loop(desired)
so we are somewhat breaking hole 17 up and using some area we had previously cut for the old hole 18 beast that just never worked.
we are then also always been the plan once we removed hole 1 to add a hole between 14-15 that will lead you back behind 15's tee.
we have narrowed it to 2 choices for each hole, we just need a lil time to ponder as this is the final at least for us cut before we let the dust settle for 3-5 years.
along the way I formulated the final punch list of relevant task before Guy and I can call this finished(well the best one can call a course finishes) before full club/team transition.
we got it through high school now get out kinda thing.
I will post completed punch list in another post. more so for personal reference but as always looking for delegation of task!
Thanks
Feedback????? players playing?

sorry for the delay don't make it to nefa much anymore
the course has seen some recent changes and the work that shoulda been done this Summer is now all happening every weekend this Fall
plenty of changes and more info after meeting this sunday
now that the dust has settled we think a solid plan for completion is in place
