I have a meeting with the New Canaan tree warden Friday early. Hope to have the town clean up the last of the trees from the HUGE storm a few months ago.
Hope to get some people out Sunday to work on the course.

I slay people at the wave(when I play from the correct pads)! I just want to publicly humiliate Matt and Jeff! I played with 3 discs and shot a -1 after 24 holes, 1st round white, 2nd blue. Played Matt from the whites on Tuesday, 2 discs this time, did it again!

Nice shooting! It's going to be 80 degrees tomorrow. Anyone want to work a little and then play a little, maybe in the afternoon.

:!: Adam & I built up #1 Blue tee, reworked #2 white tee and had an ice cold beer after about three hours of work. We will continue make improvements.
Met a few new players out on the course today maybe we need to look into a weekly or semi weekly event.

Is anyone playing doubles tonight?

How'd your lawn go? Next time why don't you mow the fairways on the course. Seriously though, it looks like grass is starting to take over several fairways. Let's throw some seed down this fall. Could be sweet in a couple years.

I am always a big fan of grass in fairways, just look at Warwick. Lets get this going at Cranbury as well! Any bigfoot sightings out there. I heard he can usually be found crouched behind trees droppin big dueces.

:D :o Major tree work done today on every hole. The town went through and attacked all dead trees and limbs. It will take some work to get the course cleaned up.
Adam I believe will be out on the course this Sunday to do some work, look for his post.
I will be working on the course next Sunday & Monday, (5/30 & 5/31).

I will plan a work day and post that date and we will provide food and beverages.

Great job by Gregg T. and Marvin on the trail from #12 back to #1. I see where it is a little wet but we can work on that.

Ok maybe not a major workday, but I'll be there tomorrow (Sunday) morning rain or shine.

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT

If you play this course, please try to help out at one of the upcoming WORKDAYS:
- Sunday May 23rd
- Sunday May 30th
- Monday May 31st (Memorial Day)

Course work is being performed to prepare for The 2nd Annual WAVENY OPEN on JUNE 27th ... PDGA-C & NEFA x 2.

Bring water, gloves, and your discs b/c after working we'll most likely play a round.

I feel like Waveny is starting to get worked in. Add a few in the field and BAM we got 18 really fun holes...ah then come the crowds to our quiet piece of land... I've heard rumblings of keeping it at 12ish and opening to 18 for special occasions. Either way this course is getting really sweet and you're missing out if you haven't played it.

Hope Bigfoot doesn't roam our way again.

Looks like whatever rain might come thru the area will be gone by 11am. I'll probably get out there at 10am.
I'm going to start on Hole 12 and work backwards. Any help, even for just an hour, would be appreciated.

Gregg, Mickey and myself put in a few hours today. We were able to clean up the fallen tree between the white and blue tee on hole #7.
Finished cleaning up hole #12 and behind #5 green.
We will be out at 9 am Monday.
Please lend a hand if you can.

:D Adam & I busted our butts today, started at hole 1 and finished at hole 5 /6. Need to finish up those holes and work on #7,8 &11.
The holes we worked on look great. I saw a person send a disc over the train tracks on hole #4. He hit early tree and the disc had eyes.

:eye: The black eye is from my better half, She can not believe how much time I spend out on the course. It's kind of an addiction, the course never looks good enough.
Anyway I'll be out there on Sunday at 8am. Let me know if you can help!
