Nice set of stone steps up and across the stone wall at 13; the mowers have their fairway upkeep instructions and I was informed that the second haying won't be taking place until late September or early October...... so the outlying grass should be fairly tall come tourney time. I let them know we need 'landing zones' along certain parts of the fairways, namely 5 - 8.

I'm staying on top of the situation.

The summer Rangers are heading back to school the 20th of August, so I'm losing critical help after that. Will be doing the final push after vacation (18-22).

I will be recruiting volunteers. Don't make me come looking for you!! --jimbo

Final push before tourney; I'll be out there one hour each day. Trying not to kill myself and have no energy to play on that great day, believe me it happens.

Friday I've got off and working the Dam most of the day, planning on touching up tees that need help and general cleanup. Hope to have something left for RFG Friday nite, but that's secondary.

Cleaned up stone walls at 8 and 10, cut some overgrowth behind large tree along 10's 'road' fairway so discs can find their way out if shots are wide and right of large tree. Looking to do away with the large tree mando, just play the hole.

However, I may make the 10th fairway 'road' OB for 9's fairway, and string off the road from original mando tree to the large tree, as said.

Will leave instructions for the Dam tourney, and see how this plays out.

back out there later today, cleaning up more overgrowth at 14's swamp.....I will add a couple more skids inside the murky jungle..............

Working there most of tomorrow, "killing it softly with my songs............................... "

Hauled off 5 truckloads of overgrowth brush today, man is my Ranger tired!

Didn't get a chance to do the tees yet, next week they're top priority.

Hey Bobka,
Made it out there today. Place looks great. I did notice a problem with the cage on 17's basket. The cage is missing a horizontal piece towards the bench. A made putt can easily fall out.

Baskets are in normal layout.

My life lately has been all work and all repairs, various types. Coming to a close, finally, and I'll be concentrating on strengthening tee boxes this summer.

Built a new tee box for 7 yesterday, working on 12 and 14 tomorrow....

Other plans are to widen 3, box in 4, and tweak other boxes that need work.

FINALLY some trash barrels are on the horizon and log benches here and there.... stay tuned

New tee box at 14, we pulled it back ~20' due to digging in softer ground (tons of gravel out there!). Big thanks to Gags for lending a hand!

I'm on vacation this Wednesday-Sunday, then it's finishing up the week prior to tourney.

You shall. Thanks Jay. I'm on vaca this week until Sunday, then it's boooom time next week; if you want to sweat off those moobs, we'll do a couple late afternoon workouts. I'll facebook you; most nights are good 'cept Tuesday.

edit: if you can find brighter string, please do.
