Almost ace, sweet eagles or birds, nice shots but NOT an ACE

Also the place for aces, near aces, beautiful birdies and enormous eagles.

Hear a lot about Bland W to W aces/almost aces. I need to play there some day, I've heard nothing but good things.

Pyramids hole#4 gold basket under the broken tree, I ripped my 174gram PIG it was real low and went right for the stream . when it hit the stream it skipped down towards the gold basket . The PIG went under the foot bridge and hit a rock and skipped up and hit the bottom of the basket then stalled on a little rock!!! That round i was -4 for the front and +10 for the back LOL!!

Had an exceptionally dirty birdie on hole 15 BB yesterday.

Griplocked an orion LS off the teepad, threaded the needle on the wrong fairway, sailed right over the white basket, through the forest behind the white basket, missed everything and ended up 10' to the right of the pin.

/me to the foursome: I sincerely apologize for that shot

Ended up being the difference in the tag match

Wickham hole 17

Post by Erik Siersdale »

Hit the basket off the tee, first time I've ever done it other than hole 14 at B-land. Still ace-less though.

Yak and I were -9 (21) on the back, and Brinster and Scoward shot a freaking 20... Unreal

Gotta give it up to Mr. Aaron Ala for putting in a 200 footer on sunday to save a circle 4 and push the hole at our team challenge match up at west thompson. On hole 10 (the super long whole with the rip rap on the right hand side) he went OB on his second shot, seemingly offering up an opportunity to take a hole, but instead he decided to throw one in. Seriously, about 200 feet up hill. Nice.

A few weeks ago I had a long but inaccurate drive off Tee 5 at HCC, landing under a grove of trees to the right, near the parking lot. My upshot had to go about 100 feet uphill, around a thick tree, to the basket. I tossed my Aviar with a sharp hyzer, happy to just get close to the basket and not roll away. CHING! The disc smacked right into the chains for a birdie. That alone made the rest of the round quite enjoyable.

I "Smolin'd" hole 13 at Mt. Kisco today. D Buzzz down the fairway, tickled chains, landed 20 feet past. Witnessed by Conrad A. and Gregg T, Actually hit the putt for the deuce.

You more than tickled those chains. I wouldn't say you smolin'd it though. Had you missed the putt and had it roll down the cliff at least twice eventually carding a triple bogey after nearly getting an ace...then I'd say you smolin'd the hole.

Nice shot. Who's disc did you use on that one?

Forgot there was an almost thread... at the nefa finals at warwick last year i hit the basket on my drive on hole 4 I think, the one where you throw a hyzer around the shed it was the long pin position I think 400ft the one where climo hits that huge put in the skylands video. would have been a great ace :violin:

Hole three Buff doubles on Sunday. I skipped off the snow with a forehand Firebird, the disc hit the rim and skipped off. Almost ace... lost by one with
-8.
