besides, the RULE says a female or a Dude who is rated less than Marrielle.

true...

I did read that..back in October. half our team is rated below her.

A pool wipes up on this no matter what bottom line.

We have no say and when stuff does not go there way they make crap up to fit it.

when we try to be inclusive, smart, make things easier and fair for all we are out of line.

we play hard all year for what next year.....wow I am honored to be in the presence of greatness..whoppie f'n do.

I signed up to play with friends and have a chance to win money for a local course.

I would say let Buff play in the A-pool finals but them and Maple Hill go down to the B-Pool next year as scheduled. The best finisher at the B-Finals out of TT, TR, and WT move up next year with Capt-L. Makes sense?

I know I'm on Buff but this does make the most sense. I realize we played poor in the regular season, however if B pool decides not to send a second team what else is there?

It should have been 2 different pools, two different finals both with payouts period.

Then next year the teams move up and down.

but ya know why it is not.

the A POOL will not have a lesser skilled team in there eyes making more MONEY.

its been openly spoken about.

I am out before I go crazy...

Bottom 2 A pool teams should just come play the B pool finals. Top team from TT/WT/TR moves up next year. Is it really that big a deal to have 1 extra team?

Plus my bet is next year that there will be no A/B pool anyway. I'm guessing back to regionals.

It sounds simple enough but it kind of is a big deal to have one extra team. 18 holes isn't big enough for that many teams, that's why we need one team from the A pool to say in the A-Finals if we are only sending one team up from the B pool.

E to the M your right there will be no A-B next year or it will be different so we will yet again be hustled by the A pool.

so whoever EARNED there spot this year may in theory be placed in a regional bracket.

I think the best 2 scenerios mentioned so far are either we have a 3 team playoff on Saturday to determine 2nd place, or we only send one team up to A-pool finals and then likewise A-Pool sends one team down. Next year 2 teams swap divisions as scheduled, with the best finishers from TT, WT, and TR being the 2nd team from B pool to move up.

Captain Lawrence and the winner of the playoff between TT, WT, TR. Seems like two move up, two moves down.

Am I missing something?

D-Mack next year could change.

They offer us a spot in A pool next year with no definite answer as to if there will be an A-B pool next year.

I realize that, but we can't go on what might happen. We don't have a choice but to follow the format that is currently in place.

I understand it's a "team" competetion, but for the playoff, why not have each captain pick their top 3 to playoff or something.

If we had tied our challenge yesterday, we would have probably sent out a set of doubles to playoff for it...not the whole team. Just a thought...

Mike the date for FINALS was never openly POSTED FOR ALL TO SEE.

so we are forced to playoff during the week ghost squad, withdraw from FDR pdga nefa 2 times or be hung by family for missing Easter.

all while playing a challenge the week before and then having to possibly travel to who knows WHERE yet to play in A pool finals for nothing. Oh yeah we may get to touch Mr.1020 or at least geta glance at him

We have gone on what might happen all year.

and I don't think its fair to create an illusion where money is involved

they should have next year already planned if this years results play into next year.

poor planning bottom line.

First off how is it a hustle? It's def. not for scamming money from 2 teams from the B pool and it has not been openly spoken about either. This league is designed to keep people playing competitively in the winter months and to get to know other teams and players that you don't get a chance to play with. We just went to Cranbury and I spent more money on gas, food and beer than our whole team dues. And guess what? I had a blast even though we lost.

Second, EM is not right, it's never been regional, so it's going to be hard to go back to something that never existed.

Third, it is going to be A and B Pool next year. Unless all the teams that don't like the setup make their own league and there's not enough teams to have two pools.

Lastly, keep up the conspiracy theories.

I vote Saturday 3 way playoff. I realize FDR is on Saturday but it's the only weekend day that is available before finals. As I said on our team's thread. Life is full of tough choices. If you are registered for that tourney you have the choice to wish your team well and attend FDR, or be a true team player and skip it for the 3 way playoff. I realize it sucks to have to choose but we are pressed for time on this and just because a handfull of people are registered for a tourney on that day is not an excuse to not have the playoff. This is the best scenerio, otherwise we can just swap 1 team for the A-B finals instead of 2, but retain the migration of 2 teams for next year.

Playing with better players is proven to improve your game. It might be worth the 12.50 you put in for the team challenge to see some great players compete. Maybe you will pick up a trick or something to improve your game. Team challenge for me as is every other time I play, a chance to improve my performance.
I learned from playing this weekend a couple of things that will hopefully improve my overall game. I bet in a few years, tully dam will produce some pretty good players that could compete at any level. Stay humble, watch and learn from the best, practice.
