Nice work. I doubt it will work since as they say, "You can't fight City Hall", but it was certainly worth a try.

I'm guessing low-level bureaucrats enjoy their little smidgen of power, and really have no idea what altruism is all about. Jason you truly are the Johnny-disc-golf-seed of our time and place. And we are the humble beneficiaries of your largesse. Thank you.

Wow, can you say BOOM...talk about well written. I know what I will be doing tomorrow during my procrastinating time at work. Tough to follow that up though. Do we have an email address to use if we are interested in sending a message in support? Might be safer to PM to certain people to ensure no unproductive emails get sent...or I assume its online somewhere.

Does this mean that Park Spirit never filed tax returns?

If they are a Mass non profit, they have to file an annual report (not really a tax return).

1.) Massachusetts non-profits have to file an Annual Report on November 1st of each year --- essentially just stating who is on their board and that they are still operating business. This MUST be filed each year, and can easily be found if they did through the Corporate Database.

2.) Massachusetts non-profits have to file a Form 990 by May 15th of each year (this is their tax return). That being said, you can not file for 3 years before you lose you tax-exempt status.

Best of luck!. We'll write a one-pager to the address you've provided in support of the project.
