Star Gator 175 or KC Pro Whippet 175 both work great.

Just picked up a Trident Lat 64. It is like a Whippet. Kinda feels like a Firebird but flys like a whippet

Re: Whippet, Drone, Gator... Preffered Overstable Mids?
I find the drone to be my most dependable, predictable disc. I only throw it forehand and would recommend it to any forehand player. As an fyi in FLX it is extremely "domey" (I like this feature/feel but others may not). I recently picked up a zone and I'm finding it to behave exactly like my drone, only shorter. You can't go wrong with either disc in my opinion. Never thrown a whippet or gator...

Don't forget about the Demon. Very similar to a drone and gator.

I was throwing some Hornets during lunch. Probably the closest flight pattern to the old (legit) Q-Sentinels. I would definitely pick one up and give it a shot.

I had one of these and some A$$ took it after I left it behind never to be seen again. I have another thats in the bag.
I have been watching this one and its going for crazy money. I wish Innova would get over it and make this again. They only make em in DX and any player that wants one dosen't want DX they beat to quick and then they don't fly like a Whippet should.

I have a Glow it's my back up to the 1st Runs. A good alternate is Latitude 64s Trident. Almost just like it and they come in sweet colors.

Yeah there are. The whole last couple runs of them was a different mold tho. Domey and not overstable enough, different nose. They went back to the other mold on these and the glitter ones.
I'm hoping there will be another run, only 250 were made in this one.
They look so pretty.....sitting there taunting me http://proshop.innovadiscs.com/champion-glow-gator.html

How can you tell the difference between the gators?
I have a few old Champ Gators from the masters in 2007, think it was the first time they ran the gator in cfr.
Are these $$$ gators as well?

The good ones have the beed on the bottom and a squarish nose on them. Those 07 ones are probably that mold.
