I just want to thank everyone for keeping an open mind going into this season. We are getting things done and we appreciate all the work. I think if we tackle each problem then we should be done in a couple weeks and we should be, for the most part, happy!!

whats gonna be the girl rule this year...must have or penalty..under 900 rated guy player...can teams have 2 girls...do they need to attend 3 events or can they just play whateva and make finals

I think the roster moves need to allow for injuries more...if we have 1 injury we must use both moves..? 1 changeup should be 1 move allowing for 2 injuries..some of us have old guys on team

will roosters for A pool move to 18..? they should

if teams are under roster..and season starts then they pick up..is it a roster move since they were under anyways..?

losing half your team to players moving sux...all at different times....more roster spots could mean shart like players injured and moving doesn't kill a team..

we should be able to list "subs" at start of year so if players move ect ect or can't play someone could fill in w/o having to make a move

Yeah you can have as many girls as you want. There will be a (5?)stroke penalty at finals if you don't qualify a woman.

I'm not sure what you mean. Why would one injury count as both moves? You can add two players per year...

Negative. We already have to sit a lot of players at finals, which sucks.

Negative. Filling out the rest of your team doesn't count as a roster move.

Yeah that's fine I guess. I don't really think there are as many injuries as you think there are, but we aren't a very old team, so I may be underestimating. 2 subs sound good?

Also, Team Bennett has just withdrawn from the Team Challenge. So we need another A Pool team.

Borderland won the B Pool finals last year and I think that's the fairest/best way to decide.

If anyone disagrees or blands doesn't want to play in the A Pool, please post.

Here is something I would love discussion on... How about a set weekend each month for Team challenge. It would make it a lot easier on captains not having to find out schedules before confering with the other teams captain and try to get a date that 32 people can agree on. I'd prefer to pick a weekend (for example 2nd weekend every month) so everyone could plan accordingly from the start of the season. Thoughts??

As long as the teams had a choice btw Sat. and Sunday of the designated weekend. That would also allow me to adjust my work schedule to make at least 3 if not all the challenges.

What happens when a team can't make that certain weekend?

So, you can't field an eight person team that weekend? Forfeiture. Would be unlikely if rosters were expanded. If the date for all challenges is set in stone ahead of time, it gives more notice for people to take work off.

I have also heard it will be easier for players to commit to ice bowls. By the way I just threw out there the 2nd weekend... is there a particular weekend of the month that people think would work best? - maybe we take into account the tournament/ ice bowl calender?

Maybe have two dates. 2nd and 4th. in case it rains or snows

Dont buy this. Complete crap. People have lives... can't tie everyone down during 1 particular weekend. If you were gonna go to an ice bowl... go to the ice bowl... your team won't miss you...

In this completely rediculous scenario I am sure the 2 teams could probably work it out - however... why not make scheduliing a hellof a lot easier for the majority of the teams who do see the point of it.

that looks good in theory..maybe if teams were not bound by it...then again..that would just be what we have now...1 region may have event listed other may not...

we play capt l first week they have warwick event..we have battleof dams/borderland

we both have finals...kinda forces it to one weekend only..the date kinda seems to just fall into place and teams do what they can
