I am hoping to come down a day early(Friday AM) and play a couple rounds in the afternoon seeing as I have never played Warwick before. Not sure if I'll be traveling alone or have a couple of team mates with me. Recommendations for nearby hotels......preferably Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn etc. Also anyone that might be up for some Friday golf the day prior to the challenge.

Hey Sully et al,
So we are still a few days away from being a few weeks away from closing on purchasing the farm across the street We hope to have a closing date within the next week or so. So close we can taste it! I will keep you guys posted.

If that doesn't work out, I can put up a few guys at my current place about 40 minutes east of the course.

Or here is the closest hotel in Hampton/Homewood/Hilton Garden price range about 15 minutes away:

Unfortunately no updates to report, believe me, the suspense is killing us all. Will let you guys (and the world!) know as soon as we hear something.

As far as layouts at Warwick are concerned....You guys can play/practice the course and then tell us what layouts you would like to play...We could help with suggestions but it's up to you guys. Get the most you can out of the course....

I can't help but comment on the lack of TullyRock postings in the TC thread this year. Maybe the bold trash talking Team that I played with last year, has moved in to the deep end of the pool and is a little scared?? :shock:

Just kind of makes me wonder........ I'm looking forward to some competitive cold weather golfing this season coupled with alot of drinkin' and eatin' ?? Where are all my teammates at ?

Still planing on coming down a day early, Friday AM for some practice, some drinks the night before, followed by some fun on Saturday. Not sure if I want anything to do with playing Joe and Mo again, revenge can be a pretty powerful emotion. Knowing them both they have been dreaming about kicking my ass for an entire year and I have no doubt that on their home course it just might happen

Can't wait to spend some serious time on the course and also some fun time before and after. See you all soon.
