1. The reason to have an organization like NEFA is so decisions can be made systematically about things like finals. It doesn't look like that was done so well this year.

2. I can't believe how many people spew hateful things while simultaneously blaming others for doing the same thing.

3. Great decision on making us all use our real names. It's really cleaned things up around here!

Read the Charter. Sure maybe they can clean some stuff up for next year. However, the TD (Elected State Rep) makes the decision on the Finals location and the number of players. Seems to me the only thing people are complaining about now is 72 players. Looks like NEFA has raised some good money to offset costs and I'm sure the day will be a great experience for those that get to play.

NEFA is concerned with a lot more than just the Finals. Looks like we have two people doing a lot of complaining and part of their arguement is that NEFA doesn't take enough help and delegate certain things off. Here you have an example of something that is delgated off to an elected NEFA rep and we still have 2 people complaining about it.

If the day turns out to be a complete success and the only percieved downfall is that 18 additional people can't play,..I'd call the Finals a success.

Tried to keep it quiet. Tried to let it play out and see what happened. Tried like hell not to feed into any more negativity. Though Jeff was gonna split the thread...that was probably a tough job..so not Jeffs fault at all...

Gary, your a feckin idiot. Period. Drink your ensure, have a little blue pill and go F*ck yerself.

The issue is not that tourney is limited to 72 players. Its that, like much of what has gone on in NEFA this year, the decision was made and passed on to the membership last friggin minute. The membership should have known about it back in July, not friggin October. I know there are a lot of feeble minded sheeple out there that can not grasp that idea. Theyll just keep on bleeting about how great these dudes are because they are volunteers. BBBBAAAAAAHHHHHH

NOW Im spewing hate. Up till this point I have been nothing but confrontational..although as cordial as I could.

For Rob...man Im really hurt!! I wanted so bad to be your bud...please like me!!! Oh PLEASEE!! You must teach 5th grade to resort to a tactic like that. It must be hard to get anything done with Sandys ball bag on your chin like that.

Heres an observation...do your feckin job or go away.

Sorry Sully...know im lettin ya down bud...but I dont feel like being cordial any more. Now I am straigh up pissed the feck off.

Then go away. Play somewhere else.

NEFA has been through many growing pains in the past few years, lets not turn an admitted mistake into a huge ordeal. I too wish the tournament was open to 90 players, and I made the cut so I'm saying I would accept the long wait at holes rain or shine, but the TD says 72, the charter does not specify, it is what it is. It can be changed for next year.
Rob, I hope you consider staying on as our elected president.
Jeff, great job with the website and moderation of said website.
While there were a few issues with keeping points up to date I still think this year was the best in several, it's got to be a tough job, much appreciated.

Lets have a good finals and look forward to another great year of discgolf

As Jeff mentioned above, don't generalize with your feeble minded comment, as it's just not necessary. I understand your main argument in the above statement in regards to communication, and it has already been admitted to by members of the board. Let's try to be constructive going forward here (I apologize if these already exist...)

1. Create a new thread with suggestions for the NEFA board going into next season. This thread can be an organic discussion used for constructive criticism (first point being above). The new NEFA board should not be held accountable for the suggestions in the thread, as they are merely suggestions.
2. Create a position with responsibilities of communication to the NEFA membership, or adjust the job description of an already created position.
3. Anyone who has serious issues with this organization, and feels they can do a better job, put together a valid campaign and run for the desired position.

Like I said Kyle, I don't know you nor do I care to want to know you with an attitude like that. I didn't think that you're feelings would be hurt - why should I as you clearly don't care about mine. I do in fact teach 5th graders and the last time I checked, that was my job as it's the only thing that puts food on the table for me and my family.

Being President of NEFA was something that I wanted to do because I thought I might be able to get some good things done. I, along with the help of other dedicated NEFA volunteers, have been able to get some of those things done but certainly not all of them for reasons I've stated before. Obviously you don't care to listen and that's fine ... do as you wish, it's within your right but clearly if you're not willing to hear me, then why should I take the time to hear you?

As for Sandy, I don't know why you bring him into this? I haven't heard his name brought up here once but your tact is less than desirable and as I would say to one of my 5th graders, I think you need to take a break.

It is my intention to 'go away' at the end of the month as you suggest because clearly I am not the man for this job. While certainly I feel like I have things to offer this fine organization, it's certainly not good enough for you.
