Re: Innova blizzard discs
I bought a 155 Boss the other day. Never threw a Boss before this. For a light disc this thing is still very over stable. I give it a full rip (RHBH) and it still comes back hard left. Not sure if im seeing a huge improvement in distance tho. I'll throw it a little more and see what happens.

You're throwing it wrong as I did before. Don't overpower it or rip it hard. I realized that I had to make a perfect throwing form to make it fly further.
Must throw it completely flat right out of your hand. No hzyer angles. The disc will do its work by performing the S-curve flight.
That's all.
Yes, it does throw you off a bit as opposed to heavy weight discs.

Decided to try out my new Blizzard Wraith last night at pyramids league....I put the thing 20 feet from the Gold Basket on Hole#5. I was impressed for sure, seeing as I hardly put anything behind it.

These things bomb IF you throw them right and the conditions are good.
Fun disc to throw in the field, but not making the bag, they're not reliable enough.

Yea they go far!!!! Seen Lil wiggins and some others bombing them 500+ this past weekend.... Sick!!!! But only on wide wide open holes with no danger. Can't throw full power, at most like 80%. they do have a tendency to come out high and right for RHBH
only one way to throw the right way.... lefty

155 Boss made my bag...very far but you gotta take 15-20% off. Kinda weird to adjust but its nice to not have to throw so hard for the same distance.
If the conditions are right you can give it 100% and it goes wwwaaayyy far.

That's pretty much exactly what I have been saying. Take some off and get same distance easier. A little weird, yes, but it allows even more accuracy with slower arm speed.

The weight difference between my other discs is what screws me up. They go reallllllly far, I just have no idea where it's going.

Just got an ace with a 152 blizzard boss. Held a 400 foot uphill hyzer and skipped in. Working great for uphill or tailwind shots

Re: Innova blizzard discs
I did some disc field testing with Tom at Maple Hill today, IN SOME SERIOUS WIND.....
First and foremost, I throw waaaaaaaayyyyyy longer than Tom. At least 10 to 12 feet further than he does, sometimes
We threw mid-range's.
We threw putters.
We threw drivers.
We tried the Blizzard Destroyer, 150g.
When thrown into a head/countering wind, the disc was squirrelly. Not as predictable as the 170g destroyer we were also throwing. It was hard to hold the blizzard disc on a line with the wind coming at you. At least harder than the 170g disc.
BUT down wind that thing went BOOM!!!!! So did the 170g model, but the Blizzi stayed air born longer.
The more I keep testing discs, the more I am understanding how the various types of discs fit into various types of players game.
These Blizzard discs are certainly creating a buzz. Not a Buzzz, rather a buzz.
and will be here to stay...
I think I'm gonna be carrying one in my arsenal of weapons. Never thought I would be saying that.

So let me get this straight. Jesse hucked a blizzard disc 400ft up hill on a hyzer line, then pulled the string and the disc travelled back down the hill 60 ft for the ace? Damn he is good. He also has a pretty cool birth date.

That's a nefa board 400 feet
. I was just guessing based on what someone else thought the distance was. Elevation made it feel like 400.

Re: Innova blizzard discs
Got my itchy fingers on a Boss Blizzard 150 to try it out recently. Old guys like me are going to love these things. (We only throw 80% at 100% anyway so they work out perfectly). Couldn't believe the carry on this disc with even a somewhat casual follow through. Made me feel like Peter Parker after his encounter with the arachnid.
There'll be an adjustment process. But I'm thinking most EVERYONE's going to adding one of these bubbly bombs into their bag before too long.

Tried the Boss and Destroyer at pyramids and wasn't a fan. Then decided to go ahead and pick up a couple Wraiths. Started throwing them without trying to overpower and they just GO. Effortless distance. It's true.

I'll bet you blizzard discs will be used in the distance competitions by "noodle arms" like Lilwig.
Don't get me wrong, my pro destroyers aren't going anywhere. The Blizzard discs are fun to throw and go a mile with less effort, which is refreshing considering they actually live up to the marketing of Innova.
