Thanks you guys, I appreciate it. I've been working hard, mowing and weedwacking for the past few days, trying to get this temp course up to my standards which are pretty high so it's been keeping me busy that's for sure (my wife and kids have forgotten my name at this point :) ). It won't be perfect but when faced with over 100 acres and you're a man working alone, you've got to pick your battles

In any event, the discs came in today and look pretty sweet:

Image

I did not order any tee's like I had planned to do because of the low number of registrations at the time of decison. As it is, I'll be taking a hit on the discs so I didn't want to dig myself in any deeper. That being said, everyone including pro's, will be receiving a full color pokerpalooza reloaded disc ... I'll probably have extra discs left over too so if you want a full color buzz, just let me know and I'd be happy to sell you one for a cool $15.

I plan on playing the course tomorrow afternoon and Friday afternoon (pre-league bc I have to work) if anyone is interested in seeing the layout ahead of time.

Speaking of - if you make it out to league, consider coming by the store for some tasty craft beers....only 10 minutes from the course!

Also, if anyone is in need of a place to crash Friday night let me know. Can probably take 1 or 2.

Baskets most likely will not be up, but i'm not 100% sure about that. I'm just going to throw the holes.

Late last night from RI:

Image

Thanks again to Norm Fitzgerald for allowing up to come and borrow his baskets from what is shaping up to be a fun, challenging NEFA finals course down in Rhodie ... they've got it going on down there!! Thanks for the tour Norm :salut:

The baskets will not be up until tomorrow so if you come out to play the course today, you'll see where the baskets are going to be placed as I've mowed putting circles in each hole location. We don't necessarily have permission to play there today so if you can wait until tomorrow that would be best ... please be respectful of the users particularly those on horseback!!

Tiki tournament tonight at my place ... shenanigans will be had, that's for sure. Barbecue, Beer, Golf, and the coveted Tiki Trophy ... $50 gets you in to the action, it's not too late 8-)

Why was the Nefa fee added to the online reg? Should it be included with the 75.00 entry fee?

Friday league:

So you want to play the course before the tournament? Well, show up tomorrow night, cards draw at 5:45 for random or semi-random doubles.

$5 for players registered for the tourney, and $10 for those who are not. Optional $1 ace pot that will roll into Saturday's tournament if it doesn't get hit Friday.

Rob,

My brother, who has been away in Afghanistan for so long, and has missed the last couple of father's day shin-digs, just announced he is coming home for this weekend for 3 days and my dad and brothers are getting together for the annual father's day stuff.

That means I have to choose between this awesome tournament, one of the only I really want to do, and family. I have to chose family.

I still want to be a sponsor, and want to make it over for some Tiki action, and hopefully even the Friday Dubs.

I just won't be able to play in the tournament. Hit me up on PM or Bland email when you get a chance.

Come on pros, get in while you can. Dennis that stinks but family is first.
Only 8 people, really, really. We all know rob is the man when it comes to tourneys.
For instance, i paid for the tiki tourney and i cant play so instead of asking for my money back timmy walsh will be my sponsor player for that tiki.
Take it down timmmyyyy

Titan: I can't sell the tourney discs until after I know how many are going to be there for the tournament. After everyone has gotten their player packs, I'll then know what I have left for surplus and I can get back to you if you'd like. I guess what I would ask that if you're going to come play the course Friday before league tomorrow night, that you make a donation to the charity by getting money to Matt while he's at league and/or me. Please just be respectful of riders and dog walkers who may be out and about.

Joe: I suppose I could of but I didn't. I'm sorry for saddling you with the fee, just didn't think all that much about it. Too many other things to think about putting this together.

Dennis: Please thank your brother for his service and of course family first ... always!! Look forward to seeing you at tiki tonight however :)

I unfortunately have to go to a wedding tomorrow night and can't make league ... who the hell has a wedding the day before Pokerpalooza? My cousin apparently

In any event, when you enter through the gates, please park immediately to your left. Do not drive up onto the field in front of you.

If you get there before the gates open, park in the non-gated pullout or on Deerfield Dr. ... just a few hundred feet past the pullout. Once the gates open, if you could move your cars that would be great, it's imperative that we keep the neighbors happy :)

Great time tonight at the tiki tournament. Even though we were light a few players due to personal commitments and such, I just wanted to take a moment to thank our player sponsors for allowing me the opportunity to throw this big bash. As stressful as it all is, the fun that we have at the tiki tournament is what makes it for me.

Here are the results:

Image

Congratulations to Roger Gagnon for some ice cold shooting, especially on the trouble holes which he rarely got into trouble on. Woo hoo

I hope you all had fun!!

As soon as you get there to help Rob set them up! j/k I have no idea when he is setting them up.

Remember though, if you get there early, you will need to park on the road and then move your car when the gates get opened.

Looking forward to league tonight! 5:45 cards are drawn.
