Home ice = win. B's need to get it done in Vancouver!

Would LOVE to see them win the cup at home, but first gotta get that W at the Rogers Center.

Irks me when fans say, "One game at a time". Sure, the players have to think that way, but realistically fans have no impact on the series itself, go ahead and wish and dream!

Just saying that fans are acting like the cup is already theirs/ours....Just as a lot of Casuck fans thought the same thing after the first 2 games.

Momentum is an untamed beast...

Good for them. Also, there is no such thing as momentum. It's a made up idea by the media.

Yes, in a physics sense, the Bruins have been able to gain plenty of momentum heading through the neutral zone. Other than that, momentum, is non-existent.

Tampa tried to kill TT with kindness, the Canucks are going down the other avenue, can't wait to see the look on their faces when TT shuts em down again.

Hey Ca*ucks fans, the numbers don't lie.

Timmay: 146 SA 4 GA 1.00 GAA .972 SV%
Luonchokesondickgo: 124 SA 14 GA 3.5 GAA .887 SV%

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

He is leaky. What a joke. He is not Jerel, but he is pretty f'n good. The numbers don't lie and he has proven this throughout the entire regular season, the entire post season, and specifically the Cup Finals to this point.

Leaky??? Really, that is the word you wanted to use Biekscum?

Most goalies would probably put that up as motivation. TT just doesn't give a [bleep]. He kills it cuz thats just what he does.

I think Bieksa is just a liiiiiiittle bitter after Lucic tooled on him with that inside move for Peverley's 2nd goal.

He was playing the body the whole way and Lucic made him look like a fool.

Found this quick paragraph on Marshmont in an article I just read....sums it up pretty well...

" Brad Marchand starting to remind everyone of another diminutive forward that mixed it up with anyone and everyone regardless of the situation. There’s a lot of Pat Verbeek in what Marchand does out on the ice and that kind of sandpaper game and skill set is something every team loves to have. Perhaps the best part of what Marchand does is that he’s able to do all of his annoying either with his words (just watch how players react to him after the whistle, I’d love to have him mic’ed up for a game but it’d likely be R-rated) or his little agitation moves.

Verbeek was known as “the little ball of hate” and we’re pretty sure if you asked anyone on Vancouver they’d say some colorful things about Marchand to back up a similar moniker for him. His play in the playoffs has been something special though as his ability to score goals and be a tremendous penalty killer have been inspiring and the Bruins have really needed that badly over time."

I may have gone with Matthew Barnaby but yes, Verbeek did have a similar game to Marchand. I love watching him play hockey.

Messier was another guy who was a real competitor out there. Still waaaaaay too early in his career to be mentioned in the same sentence.

Somebody tell the Canucks to dive some more. Pathetic.

There is a pretty big game tonight in Boston and a series lack of talk here. Let me begin with a message stolen from another message board.

"Thomas has a GAA 2.07 in the playoffs and 1.21 in the Finals, His save percentage is .937 for the playoffs and .965 in the finals. He has faced almost 100 more shots than Luongo. How does he not win the Conn Smythe regarless of who wins the Cup? Who has been better in the series? The Sedin? Kesler? Luongo? Only a bunch of delusional VAN fans would think any of their players had been better than Thomas. Outside of being goal challenged in VAN, this series is already over. VAN has looked horrible in BOS and can't imagine things will change tonight. And VAN better be worried about game seven, they have won three games at home by three lucky plays. Don't expect your luck to hold out. The teams have been very balanced in VAN, BOS has been dominate at home."

Thoughts on potentially giving the Conn Smyth to the losing team?? That would probably not pump Luongo's tires!

My thoughts on tonight: 4-2 Bruins

Lack of talk on here is surely do to nervousness. For one, I can't get [bleep] done today, I just want to go home and watch the puck drop. I hope the B's don't get TOO fired up early, this could happen, seeing as the building is gonna be raucous, lets just hope they get on Vancouver early. Let's also hope they don't turn on the AC and let the ice get nice and sloppy to slow down Mary-Kate and Ashley, along with Phil Kessel Jr. and Alex "Thornton is gonna use me like a" WheelBurrow tonight...

Luongo gets out of his comfort zone outside Boston it seems and I think that Luonchokesondickgo, will shat his pants if this thing goes back to Vancouver, in Game 7.... anything can happen.

B's 3 Canucks 1.

I feel like I am on the last two holes in a tie-break, one shot down, at the USDGC. Ok, not that that would ever happen. Keep cool, just play aggressive, play smart, play your game. No problem. Just save that devastating, tooth-rattling body check for the appropriate time, like when Niko is teeing off on Hole 17....

Thought Nash's wife, who had Jason Richardson's baby in November was Maholtra's sister, I guess Manny is married to Nash's sister.. haha. It's like that moment in the movies, you are with your wife in the hospital, she's having your kid, but the baby comes out a different skin color... oops... should have wrapped it Mrs. Nash.

Wednesday 8pm cannot come soon enough.

I feel like Thomas wrapped up the Conn Smyth last night. I would like to hear who on the Canucks is deserving.

Not Luongo. Ha!
Not the Sedin sisters. Pathetic!
Not Kessler. He has been awful but I give him credit for playing injured.
Not Burrows. Can you imagine giving it to a guy who bit someone during finals?
Who?

There really is no one deserving of it other than Timmy.

The numbers are just too good (and subsequently non-existant/not good for others) to deny him that award...even if they lose.

The ONLY other person I could see take it is Burrows, and that's only if he scored ANOTHER game-winner in OT.

Figures I have to work AGAIN during the game!
