Juano and I sent in our $ for FDR on Sat. Yeah! Now we just have to duke it out to see which one of us can really go.

And I'm signing up for the W. Thompson today (if I ever do find that envelope with the Buff. Bucks in it. . .). I don't know about all of you, but I'm getting a bit tired of winter here. I tried to go out yesterday and the wind kicked my $#$@!. I came back to the house with ears stinging, the loss of a favorite disc and tail between the legs after just a few holes. Oh, I dream of summer.

Yes we are teaming up and yes once again the ladies are traveling the furthest for this event. We have women from CT to West VA coming to this event. Looking forward to it!

BTW I won the Loriella Challenge on Saturday in Va. A PDGA b tier. I am pissed too b/c they posted the scores on PDGA wrong. But I have my trophy to prove it! Another women Shelia and I had the same score for both rounds. We had a two hole playoff and I won on the second hole. Loriella is a very nice and clean course. There are an even number of wooded and open holes. It was a great day. 50-55 degrees and some wind, but very sunny. Oh how I am thinking spring.

congrats becky!

killin' it in the madc baby... and a "B" tier! wooooo!

don't think i'm gonna make b-land dubbies in a few weeks. it's on the calendar tho, so maybe...

and yes to fdr! april 6 - the day after philly open. awesome bill newman tournament on the newly re-designed course with new flypads. unfortunately, i think i may be the only female left playing in the skylands area (except for lesli of course). so we need to import some ladies for this one!

I really want to play FDR Fools fest. There are already 4 women signed up to play. I am playing the Philly Open the day before. I might have plans I cannot break that Saturday night after Philly Open. If those plans do not happen, I am there!

it's possible that i'm packing the maximum amount of clothes allowed for 1 girl for 1 weekend of tournaments. the weather could go either way... so i'm bringing my whole dang closet... cold gear, rain gear, change of clothes, extra shoes. and pajamas :D

excited to see a couple of you ladies this weekend. only time will tell what the weather will bring. i've played in some crazy weather since moving out here- sleet, torrential downpours, and insane wind. bring it! ;)

yes! i will be there - and bob said in the other thread that he and kit may be back from mitch's wedding by then. ania k. will most likely be there - she is rutgers up and coming big arm! and great fun to play with. at our club meeting last night, jeannie said she was going but i'm not sure if she's playing. maybe alecia, former women's world grandmaster champ and leslie "i love tom petty" demark will make a showing.

that's about all i can think of, and really i'm just guessing.

hey christie - that's great news! fdr is a great course that has gone thru some re-designs in the past year or so - i'm sure your boyfriend has told you all about it!

i'll be at fdr fools fest, and i think heather and becky were planning on being there as well from our conversations this weekend. lesli will be there, playing pro women i think.

and just another fyi - drinking is allowed in the park! yeah!

Maureen-congrats on this weekend!

I'm playing at FDR, too! (yeah!). I would love to have a chance to play (and get schooled  ) against Lesli Demark, but don't want to miss the opportunity to play against everyone--any chance Lesli will be playing on our card(s), or are there different tees for pros and adv?

Thanks Maureen for the offer to stay with you--I really appreciate it. I think Juano and I are going to drive up the morning of.

--I'll try to remember my tag for W. Thompson & FDR!!

everyone plays the same course at fdr - i'm pretty sure they only have one teepad and basket per hole. actually, i am sure.

i really don't know where bill will put lesli the first round, but the second he'll usually put her in men's pro or advanced. good question though...

OMG!

I posted something and I didn't get boot-ed off!

Yeah great weekend of disc golf. Kristi and I beat three male teams in the Rec/Mixed division at the Borderlands Tourney and were only four strokes behind the 1st place am's second round (does that make sense?). Had a fun tag round on Sunday with Leslie and Erica. Even though Leslie smoked us, Erica was playing awesome...watch out ladies...once she sheds some layers of winter wear, she is going to rock even more!

Alright, I better get back to writing papers...UGH!

PS Heather, you asked if anything was going down this weekend...I am up for a round.

Charis....I'm glad you posted....I was playing the idea of posting off of Jay and Clayton....Worried we were baggers.....even though the scores didn't look like we were....so alls well that ends well...had a great time and was proud of our partner play....especially the second round WITH the play off.
See everyone soon....unsure of availability this weekend due to Easter bunny. Looking soooooo forward to West T and FDR. Peace. CT/KB
