backwards Ace... Eca?
hahah get this...went to the orange high plains park today with the family. the kids and wife were on the kid's playground, and i grabbed my discs to get in 3 or 4 holes real quick. since there's no solid layout there, i went from the playground to hole 8, and from 8 backwards to 7, then to 6, and back to 7-8 and to the playground.
shooting from about 30 feet after pin 8, downhill and downwind to basket 7, (high winds), I NAILED IT. the disc kept going and going, dead straight, i knew it would hit as soon as i let it go. downhill and downwind, it was about 250 feet (which is better than my average drive) it was completely weird feeling... i just stood there staring at it. of course, no one saw it.

yesterday at buff league, Jerel's approach on hole 20, as it leaves his hand, he calls the shot to hit off the tree to the right of the basket and go in, which is precisely what it does. Not the first time i've seen him hit shots like that.

In the past three days:
Aced hole 5 (hanging basket) at Pyramids on my third shot after I had hit the log six inches higher than the chains on my first throw
Bounced off front of basket on hole 3 at Northampton.
and
Hit off the pole on hole 6 at Northampton.
So close, and yet...

Banged the chains on New 6 at Panthorn for a causal round after league.
Eagle straight down the gut with a quick fade at the end. Must have hit the back of the chains and it didn't stick.
First time out since I compressed a vertabrea in my back and screwed up some discs in December. Way to get back into the swing of things.

The one after the pond. So 7 then.
First time I played the new layout. And if anyone has played the new holes, tremendous work as been done by Lick, Z, Lane and the Cows(sorry if I missed someone.) New raised decking tees with fly pads on three or four holes. Trenches to clear out the standing water.
Looking good guys!
