*IF* I can make it, it wont be early. Taking K to the docs today at 3pm in cheshire and no idea how long that will take... which also means that when/if i do finally leave, I'll be leaving from cheshire/southington, not avon from work :?

sorry you guys couldnt come out, weather was great for the round. It ended up just being myself/sax/jeff, but it was a good time and if jeff hit every long bomb that hit metal he would have ended like -13

I set a new glo CR with +7, still easily takeable though. Webber, its on next time we go out ;)

oh yeah, and we didnt put any discs in the pond. woohoo! haha

glo tomorrow at panthorn, 6:30-ish. not sure of a head count but i think we'll have 4+. We'll go with popular vote on whether we do the winter NEIN or not, object is a little hard to play with so little light to watch for longer putts. Bowling planned for afterward but we're still not sure if we'll be doing that ~5min from thorn at the alley in Southington or needing to travel elsewhere to find open lanes, that'll be a little more last-minute.

come on out :)

If possible I'd like to do a glow round at Hero's on Monday 2/26. With dinner at CBH.

Surgery is that Wed morning. So anyone who can come out for my last glow round for a while would make it a great night :D

Monday glow round, I can do. Hopefully, I'll be able to join in the fun.

-ditterman 8-)

Are you guys following Milce rules, where you can only have one disc? Or the more reasonable rules where an additional glow putter is allowed? If I had a vote I would allow players to use their glow up-shot (just one players opinion)

Either way I should be there throwing some glowdisc with the regulars.

I'll do what I can for that monday with CBH included.

I'm confused what youre asking ditter... we typically play "one disc" glo but at hero's we do typically bring extras (if we can and they're not all lent out to people) simply so that we can finish our rounds in case we lose a shot to the pond hole. what do you mean by your question though?

During NH glow Milce explained his version of what glow-disc is (or should be) 1- no flashlights on the fairways, lights are for walking from basket to the next tee only.(and even then only when necessary, keep light use at a minimum) 2) only one disc (fly-by-night prefered) no extra glow putters, must putt with main disc (unless your main disc is a glow aviar)

That's all I remember, I'm sure there are a few more that I'm forgetting.

Dinner and darts at the brewpub afterwards?

WOOHOO!!!!

Ditterman,

We usually just use Fly by Nite's. But bring as many of those out as you want.

For light while walking/lighting the baskets we usually just carry a couple extra glow sticks around the either belt loops or loops to bags. The first time we played Ro's we had all the baskets pre tagged with sticks. If there's going to be a big group who hasn't played glo out there, maybe we'll do that again.

Where's Shane, Webb, Chippy, Mattioli, BUC???

I'm sure either McHale or myself will get a hold of Zach.

Sounds like a fun night!

What time are you guys starting? I'm teaching until...8...in danbury. So i don't think that would be enough time to get to Heroes. I'd really like to play though.

I was going to wait for feedback before setting a time. I can do anything. We could do dinner first and push golf back if that means more people would be able to make it.

Ultimately its up to Hero on how late he doesn't mind us on his property till on a Monday night. 8-)

time = no problem, just book it! :)

please continue to update so that most folks can either plan on food first or after--anyone can grab a sub or a few slices right in "downtown granby" in the center plaza on the was thru.

ABC Pizza "subs" and Goombas "slices". If the CHBP is too much time...then bag it?

my opinion, since the CBH bar closes around 10 (if i remember correctly) it'd be better to do food and then glo. Not to mention it will just ensure that it's definitely dark by the time we get out there (as opposed to just-about-dark-but-not-100% if we did a teeoff between 5:30-6).

So this is for the 26th right?

I should be able to make it depending on possible Closing issues with the new house. I'm sure I'll need a break.

I've been training the dog to pick up my disc and put it in the basket, so we'll see how that goes.

Glow is for tonight (2-12)

I'm off work at 5:00, I'll be at the brewpub sometime before 6:00. Post here if the plans change to golf before food and beer.

That was why I asked.

Hero mentioned it yesterday as being for today.

Sax says 26th.

Either way is fine.

Let's do both.
