I just realized that my band is playing about 40 minutes south of Warwick (20 minutes from NYC) on this particular Friday night if anyone is interested having an extra fun time. We play until ~ 2am.

9am just got a little more painful for me. :drunken:
Whoever is playing me just picked up 1 or 2 holes. But thats all you'll get!

Let's party!

There is also a good possibility of Skylands holding their Monthly Tournament on The Might Gaw that Sunday. 1 round, 3 divisions....The course is on the way to Tappan Zee Bridge....

Was there a lot of damage at Warwick? Is the course playable? How much snow is on the ground?
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.

I'll have a crock pot full o' turkey chili, gotta tune up the ice bowl recipe.

So we are closing on the farm across the street on Friday. This day has been coming for a long time, and there will be much rejoicing, but that unfortunately doesn't help you guys as far as this weekend is concerned. The current owner will be taking a few extra days to get himself and his stuff outta there.

I may or may not be staying there Friday night (read: indoor camping). Arty & Gags, hope it's cool to make it a game day decision Friday where we crash Friday evening, but leaning towards the farm. Others that are flexible are welcome too.

It's in the 50's all week here, with some rain possible for Friday, so the snow (we got about a foot on Saturday) should be gone by Saturday, I can't speak for tree damage though. We have plenty of options at Warwick, and besides, anything out of the ordinary will be that way for both teams & probably to your guys' advantage anyway.

Giddy up!!!

Course reports are coming in......Not sounding great out there....We might have to get out there early Saturday Morning for some quick chainsaw sessions.....Both gaps on hole 5 clogged with down branches....Hearing the triple cedar tree on 15 next to the silver pin is on the basket and is unplayable....
Maybe if some of you T-Rockers get there on Friday you can put a little time in and clean the place up some....Feel free to rip down what ever looks like storm damage..

I wasn't there but from the reports and pics sent yesterday-here is preliminary assessment.

Hole 5 has down limbs in front of the short tee blocking the straight gap to the short pin and blocking the gap to the blue pin. (not really playable) Long to short anny route might be playable..

Hole 7 has a tree leaning over from the left of the shot tee blocking the flight path. (long tee playable)

Hole 9 has a tree down off the left wood-line between the short and long pin. (playable)

Hole 11 has a cedar tree bent over the creek in front of the long pin (looked playable)

Hole 12 a tree fell blocking the gap to the long pin (playable over the down tree)

Hole 14's long pin green is a mess but playable

Hole 15 -The triple cedar is totally down covering the silver pin. Tree is done! Looks like it spared the basket. short pin is NOT playable.

Hole 17- supposedly someone rolled a gigantic snow man ball in front of the silver pin.

So a couple (or more...) of TCL & T-Rock Starz will be staying at the property across the street Friday night.

We'll be indoor camping in a small cottage on the farm, not sure if the heat or electric is on as we close tomorrow morning. The current owner might still be there, so please don't get there before me. Here's my cell 845-826-6707.

We'll probably meet up at the Allendale Bar & Grill to rock out w Chuck before heading over there to pass out.

Hopefully we can hit the course early to do any easy maintenance before the game starts.

Maybe we can use a hole or two in Wolfe Woods, or replay a different layout on a few holes to make up for any unplayable holes on the Animal course.

Game on!!!

I was thinkin we play a mixed "all star" layout and incorporate Wolfe Woods hole 18 or 1 to replace hole 5 since that one is not really playable at the moment. Going right from 4s basket to 6's tee is a much shorter walk anyway!

Psyched to check out "The Farm" this weekend!

You think when I pull into the park Sat morning...I could back my truck up to those hanging limbs...Connect a tow strap to the limb to my tow hitch and rip those things right off the trees?

Gags and I are down with that plan. We will be at the course tomorrow sometime in the mid afternoon. Then we'll meet up with you to rock out with Charlie at A B & G. We will help out in the a.m. and can do some course work tomorrow while playing. When you guys figure it all out can you give me an idea of what holes will need attention on the "all star" layout so we can maximize our efforts.

Does T-Rock have a roster? Looked at the roster thread but didn't see anything ... no big deal, just curious.
