Nate Doss, and make sure he brings enough Grip Bags for us all. He's not going to walk on to this team empty handed.

I obviously don't speak for everyone, but I'm sure whatever you decide will be fine Pete. That's why you're the team captain coach guy dude man. It's good that you're asking though. It shows u care...

Anybody else got any input? Or are u gonna make Pete make a decision and get pissed about it later? Just kidding, but seriously...

hahah love you tous... I'm not sure just how open I should be with my decision making process here because it will probably only get me in trouble but I had three different people in mind currently. One was suggested to me and I was told he shoots even and under routinely at Crane, another is a close friend and has been killin' it recently on the links and another is the DUDE. Loves the game and is all about getting better and is here to stay, plus owns a transportation company. I mean who knows what is what and I'm not talking about using anyone but just thinking of The Team Crane Hill bus going up to amesbury.... mmmmmm... haha i dunno..

Basically there are a lot of different qualities to assess but what's most important to us as a team is probably adding the best possible player we can who can also commit to making the last three challenges. Hmmph..

A bus would be sick! Possibly even a lil intimidating. Can u imagine that ride out there with our rowdy crowd? We'd get pulled over for sure, haha.

Any takers on hyland this Sunday, the 18th? I don't know if the scrimmage against newton is still happening but it would be fun to play anyway. So far we got a nate, a tous and a possible grosso. Get back at me boys, lemme know if ur interested.

Hello Crane Hillians, or is it Craneites?

Lets get a date for the Feb challenge at West T. You will have a great time. You will lose, but with a smile and full stomach.

With all the sh!tty weather coming it really doesn't matter what the date will be. We may have an issue on the 18th, so lets avoid that weekend.
Guys will need to take time off most likely, so lets get the ball rolling.

Pete? You out there bro?

yo broski and hutch. HERE CAP! AY AY!! ALL HANDS ON DECK! ARRR!!! MAN THE BOW!!!

alright so i embarassingly just spent a solid 4 minutes looking for things to say pertaining to boats and orders so i could load up on 'em.. I failed. Googled boat captain's orders, boating words, things of this nature. I think I'm missing something. Damnit.

February... Dude. like does it matter when we play you guys? We win. wait. nope, period.

I don't have any conflicts in February and haven't heard anything from my team either. We're a bunch of committed dudes so I'd highly doubt we won't be able to field a full team regardless of the date.

I might prefer a Sunday to a Saturday though if that works... Wanna just choose one and see if it works? Start running with it.. 5th, 12th? 26th?

Grosso suggested a sunday morning leage at crane for 5$ in the happenings and hookups thread.. I think it's a great idea and even though he won't be around this sunday I think we're going to start it up on New Year's Day..

Sunday morning 10am Crane league..

Random draw best disc doubles 5$ each person.. We miss ya guys so we gotta get some semblance of a league together...

Hope to see ya'll on new years!

Yo Pete or Fleury or any Worcester dudes. Can I get a ride from Worcester to the Amesbury challenge. I'm thinking I'll sleep in the Wu Friday night in order to not get "stuck" in Providence for any "reason." So yeah, not sure who's still living there but that would be helpful.

yeaaaaa boiiiiii.... i've filled our open roster spot (due to Greg's injury) with a player who will undoubtedly help us take the next step.. Jon Gordon will be playing the rest of the season with Crane so welcome this fine gentleman aboard boys!

Also, everyone has said that they can make it to the challenge on the 21st. Krestchy made it known to me that some people wanted to know if they were going to play or not because otherwise they wouldn't make the trip.

The most important thing for me to do as a captain (in my eyes), other than guaranteeing us the best chance to win, is to qualify as many players as possible for the finals. This is obviously a matter of logistics so if there are any emergencies or scheduling conflicts we can make sure that we still field a full roster for finals.

Mike K, Mike F and Steve M all have 2 challenges under their belts and only need to play 1 of the last 3 in order to qualify for finals. This holds true for a number of others on our team and if these guys are available they'll play more than just 1 of the last 3. Assuming Jon can make the last 3 it's very important we get him into every match because we want him qualified for finals, and because he's dirty but whatevs.

Anyway, for this upcoming challenge, with everyone being available, I think it's in our best interest as a team to let those know in advance that they do not have to join the team on the trip to amesbury if they don't want to. Mike K, Mike F and Steve M don't need to make the trip to Amesbury as we should have (pending any last second drop outs) 17 people going. Pleasant Hill will be bringing the same number (roughly) and the odd man out can play a match that won't count towards score but will still be disc golf and fun and stuff :)

The odd man out will also be playing either the singles or doubles round with the team counting towards score so nbd on that end... Word is bond boys.. I'm excited about the 21st sunnnnnnnnnn

ok... so i used our last roster move today when I heard that Bert was not going to be able to make the Amesbury challenge and hence would have a hard time qualifying for finals. He was understanding of the situation at hand and wasn't upset about losing a spot on the roster.

So, without further adieu... welcome Keith Burtt to team Crane!!

Both Keith and Jon will be finishing the season with us, including the challenge next week @ amesbury... :D :D
