There are several GOLD tee's that were not shoveled.

Looks like we won't play those tee's. That would not be fair, to our guests.

Got a round in on the blue layout today. The course is playing really nice right now. I was surprised by the minimal damage from the storm. Can't wait for you guys to serve us our victory dinner tomorrow.

The only unshoveled tees I saw yesterday were #1 and #12 gold. Gotta play 12 gold or 12 blue, the best 2 shot hole on the course IMO. Or is Team Maple Hill too afraid to play through the woods against us?

what the hell are bangers?

If my memory swerves me correct, they are sausages served in Ireland and the UK, right?
Like, you can get Bangers and Mash, which is sausages and potatoes.
That kind of bangers?

now, doing bangers, could be an entirely different thing.
As in, doing chicks that are bangable. Doing chicks that like to bang. Or banging chicks, that are BaNgInG, Yo!!!!

Saturday night, guess what I'm doing?
Yep, nothing.
Nothing, that is, while my wife reads what I'm posting, while I post it. Being married is soooo awesome!

Any word on layout? As in, are we gonna get the match play layout before warmups tomorrow? or is mighty 0-1 Maple really that worried about the upstart Team Newton in their first match ever.
No pressure on you guys or anything.

Steve, that's quite the gamble going with MH on their home course, playing against a bunch of dudes you've never met. That's like taking Goliath over David, or the Russians over the Americans in the 1980 Olympics. I'm taking the Yankees to make the playoffs next year, and the Red Sox over Boston College in spring training.
You got Maple Hill in this one.

I like our chances as an upstart team. I'm definitely looking forward to this first experience in matchplay and feel like I could compete in pretty much any matchup I'm likely to get. It's probably kinda sad for you guys that I feel this confident having never played this format. Just sayin

Good time. Appreciate the hospitality. Lot of close matchups in singles. Proud of everyone on team newton. Caught a talented team in a match they needed. Confident this will be our only loss this season. Good luck maple see you in finals.

Thump :eye:
Seriously, we didn't win 1 matchup on Golds? Ouch!

Nice job by Maple Hill. You guys cemented the fact that we are the central Mass J.V. team...for now...
Wish a few of those close matchups went the other way, if only to make the scoreboard look better for us. But a loss is a loss either way.
Thanks for the awesome lunch and a fun welcome to the TC circuit.

had a blast today.. thanks to maple and newton.. and about that score.. if you tell me the night before that you will have a full roster and then dont show up with one while we have all but one on our roster, we should get those four points.. so we only lost 25-7.. just sayin'.. and i was undefeated in pingpong and darts

I bet if we had a challenge against Team Maple in ping pong and darts, we totally woulda crushed em. Foos Ball too.

Thanks Maple Hill for the hospitality, and mother nature, for a beautiful day of disc golf. Had a ton of fun. Will definitely be hitting up that gold layout more often for some practice!

HaHaHa.
You should trim down the ol' team. Imagine if you had try-outs for like, say, 16 spots, then you'd have a more appropriate amount of players on a roster for TC.
Besides, I'm sure the team would let you still be the captain, even though you'd probably not make one of the 16 spots

I had a blast playing with the people I played with today. Playing with Rob in the first round was great. LaForce and Pete Bean too. The whole first round was like playing a round with my buds. Second round was great too. Dave and Mike played well and Cuzz's timing on certain putts was phenomenal. Golds is a beast, even in dubz.

Niiiice work on the food. There was a spread that was unbelievable. Capt. Burtt was there this morning at like 7am, warming up the griddle for bacon-egg-n-cheez's. On an english muffin nonetheless.
Croc pots galore, all adorned with delectable tasties. Even coffee with Bailey's to start the day.
The food options were super.
Thx to all who pitched in on the food.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to play today. Y'all made it as awesome as it was

We got 4 in the singles.

Very close to taking down both rounds. We all know that close doesn't count. I (and most of the team) just need a bit more experience in closing out a round. I think there were a lot of match-ups that came right down to the end. This is the first step towards that. Great jobs by Jon Gordon battling with me and finishing in the first and Cuzz and Worm coming back on me and Dave M.

Straight up 3'd 11 Gold. Pretty much made my day.

Thanks to Team Maple for the great time. Food was awesome and the course was playing really well... Amazing considering the damage done over at Newton.

Awesome time! First round was a blast. Daves 60 footer with the match on the line on 16 was money. Nobody else I would rather lose to.

Food and hospitality was great. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a fun day.
