this reminds me alot of TT v Maple. They said Noho or Crane (even though they had a challenge there coming up later in the year) i said no noho and maple did not want to play crane just a short time after the october storm that thrashed the course). I offered Hylands, West T, Buff, Barre,Flat Rock, etc. They wouldnt have any of it. Now they dont want to play on the 18th, because its the day after st pattys day. Seems all to familiar. Team members will be missing regardless of when we choose to play. Lets just choose a date.

bahaha.. I got nothing but love for yall.. Played with a bunch of all y'allz and definitely got nothing but love. It's kinda hard not to have love for peoples in the DG community.. There really aren't that many peeps who aren't just good folk. Anyway, now that I've issued that disclaimer..

If Team Challenge had end of the year titles for teams (like the ole yearbook class clown and class flirt, etc..) I think TT might win the drama king award.. MAYBEEEEE.. Didn't really think that one through but too lazy to delete..

I looked back through the rules, but it seems to me that the home team should get the last say if there isn't agreement. The league would prefer we play sooner, and at this point the 18th is the best day. People won't be there on the 18th just like they won't be there on the 1st, so sooner is better and home team deciding is better. We'll bring the food/you guys can bring the tears.

We're the home team, you should respect our request to play on that date. Saying that you can't play that date because... is just unacceptable as the visiting team.

I wanna keep my cool cuz it's all good, disc golf is ill and I like all you Tolland dudes. But I gotta be honest TT has been the most difficult team to schedule a challenge with. And what's worse is it seems like you guys have been this way with most other teams you've had to play against this year.

Y'all is a talented bunch but could probably use a lesson in organizing challenges in a timely fashion..

DMack to say that you're waiting on me is ridiculous. And for you to dictate the date is ridiculous. The 25th or the 1st? So you're leaving the 1st as the only date there bud. We established the 25th as being off the table.

I created this thread on Feb. 14th to try to work out a date in a timely fashion. I called Eric on the 20th of Feb to try to figure this out.. The only post he's made on this thread is to tell me his new number which I got at him just a few days past the 20th..

He gave me no definitive dates. He has been out of touch since yesterday where he said TT was only down for the 25th or or the 1st. We already took the 25th off the table. So what we have here is TT as the away team dictating the one and only date that will work for them.

I'm the only one who's made an effort to get this scheduled. Your team has done nothing but delay.

The league would prefer us to do it before the 1st. I would trust doing it on the 1st if I trusted you and pHill to be able to work out a venue for finals in advance. But again your teams' relationship with time hasn't exactly been on point..

So... I know of three people who can't make it on the 1st for us. Eric's reasoning for not playing on the 18th was "a few peeps can't make it"

As Dmack articulated in the Noho challenge, the home team should get the advantage in choosing a date. You guys have been unreasonable in my opinion and I as home team captain has made a concerted effort to get this thing scheduled.

I got nothing but love but can't help being irked by this whole thing. Both our teams have made finals and hence have a shot at making A pool. If your team wanted to have a big say on the date of this challenge you should have been more up front earlier on.

We'll play on the 18th. Choose matchups at 10a.m. It'll give us all a little extra time to rest those aching heads.

You don't like it take it up with the league.

i believe the only qualm we had with any other team was maple@crane.... trying to decide a location up in MA where they clearly frequented every course way more than we did. any course we would've chosen we still would've been underdogs. so we pushed for a course where we thought we would've been slightly less underdogs. it just happened to get blown out of proportion when just like most internet conversations, things gets taken out of context and everyone gets all pissy.

i really dont know why this took so long... we told our availabilities, and like you were just waiting on an answer now. i got no problems with anyone, everyone i met in TC has been good folk. been dyin to play this one for a while.

so if it is indeed this sunday.... it looks like its gonna be in the 60s and sunny. great weather + great course + great people = good times!!! lookin forward to it!
